Creating Your Dream with Disney Event Group

Hi everyone and thanks for my warm welcome to the blog last month. In my first post, I promised a peek at some of the over-the-top experiences we create at the Disney Event Group. And this is one of my favorites:

Disney ‘Magic Mirror’

We recently created a once-in-a-lifetime event featuring a giant interactive mirror to let guests know who really was the fairest of the all. The event included our three Divas of Evil, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil and the Wicked Queen from Snow White.

The Evil Queen From Snow White

As you can see – Disney Event Group’s creative team makes dreams come true. From the moment you call us, the first thing we do is to find out all we can about you – what is your dream? Your wish? Here at DEG we believe everyone has a story, we help you tell it.

So, what’s yours? Out of all the Disney stories, if you could, what story, what pages of the book would you want to step into?

Comments

  • I’d see Alice in Wonderland going through some sort of labirynth, needing to talk to characters and solve puzzles in order to get through the maze, and of course finally, the group would reach the end where an amazing tea party would be (read: gift shop/restaurant), surrounding by giant flowers and mushrooms. I think the whole thing would have to promote teamwork and problem solving applications, it’d be great for companies and/or families together.

  • How bout’ the world of color! =)ha ha! but really I would like to step into The Socere’s Apprentice with Mickey

  • Ok, I’d step into your job… but then I would dive right into Pirates of the Caribean, Beauty and The Beast, and possibly Fantasia.

  • Oh where do I start?
Definitely ALICE and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!
But, I would’t mind stepping into Price of Persia either. Besides the sand, who wouldn’t want to go on an adventure with Dastan! 😉 Last but certainly not least, my all time favorite Cinderella.
Everyone could use a Fairy Godmother!

  • I would be Ariel! 😀 my favorite but I was Belle in a play of Beauty and the Beast! and that was AMAZING to be a Princess in such a greatly put together show! Alice in Wonderland would be so0o0o0o much fun too!

    • It looks like we have quite a few Alice and Beauty and the Beast fans…. so, tell us, if you could create the ultimate Alice in Wonderland experience what would that look like? What about Beauty and the Beast? What would be your dream experience with these stories?

  • I would say 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, except that I’ve been to Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneysea, so I’ve pretty much already done that ^_^

So then I’d have to go with Fantasia… I’d love to wander through the Pastoral Symphony and Ave Maria with the looming excitement of Bald Mountain and dinosaurs!

Voyages Extraordinaires: Scientific Romances in a Bygone Age

  • Sure w/b fun to “fly” with Pete, Tink, the Darlings & the Lost Boys(Disney Zip Lining?)

  • Beauty and the beast. I love all the enchantment!

  • Well, if we’re up for any Disney stories, I’d definitely like to hang with some of the ghosts of the Haunted Mansion, maybe take a twirl in the Ballroom or interact with Madame Leota.

In terms of movies, there are so many to choose from. I’d go with any live action-animated scene from Mary Poppins, or “I Love to Laugh.”

  • I’m currently studying event management in grad school, and learning about the Disney Event Group has blown my mind. Maybe one day I can work there!

  • If I could create a magic time, it would be to be Cinderella and ride in the glass carriage with footmen and all to circle around the Magic Kingdom. No matter how old we get, it’s still great to treasure those childlike dreams that never came true! My magic trip would be a cruise on the Disney Cruise Lines…oh well, we can all dream, cant’ we….even at age 71.

  • If I could step right into any Disney movie I wanted, I would have to choose Lilo and Stitch. That is my favorite movie in the world! I would love to just step in and be there with Lilo and Stitch, but mostly Stitch. I also have an idea for you: Wouldn’t it be cool if you found a way to simulate flying to Neverland? I would love to see that happen!

  • So many I’d like to step into. But overall I’d have to say Peter Pan. Going to Neverland, not having to grow up, and having a chance to “leave the world behind”, even for just a moment.

    • Your stories and dreams have reminded me of so many fairy tales and adventures we have created in the past…its going to be fun to share them with you. So, which story would you like to see next in a future post? Pirates? Princess? Neverland? Perhaps we can transport your heart to the 2nd star to the right….

  • Would love to be the butler in the Happiest Millionaire. That family was hilarious!

  • I’d want to step into the ballroom from Beauty & the Beast…take a turn with my prince under an enchantment. 😀

  • Sailing with Capt Jack Sparrow!

  • That’s a tough one – Cinderella, Peter Pan or Toy Story!

  • Wind in the Willows, Being able to go on a wild ride with Mr.Toad would be hilariously fun.

  • Davy Crockett! King of the wild frontier!

  • Alice in Wonderland simply because I adore the mad Hatter, but I’d love to step into your job. LOL, that is my dream job. What an amazing event you put on!

  • We have our own story….I met my husband in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom….HONESTLY! 🙂

  • I think Alice in Wonderland would be just great- Tim Burton’s eye for the fantastic is definitely up to par with Disney’s vision for entertainment. To be able to walk around a land where the plants unravel, the cat appears and disappears, and we could experience some of the magical elements of the Wonderland would rock!

  • Definitely the Evil Queen in Snow White!

  • I would like to step in to Cinderella.

  • I love the Beauty and the Beast story! I would love to be a household item like Mrs. Potts! I can’t wait for the new release of the movie in Blue Ray!

  • I do think that being in the Beast’s castle would be pretty awesome! 🙂

  • I would have say beauty and the beast how I would love to find my prince charming

  • i would love to stay under the sea with Ariel, flounder and sebastian 🙂

  • Mary Poppins! I want to be on the carousel when the horses jump off and cross the field. And to step into the sidewalk art. And to have my house tidy up on command.

  • I’d love to enter the world of Alice in Wonderland and see all the crazy things that happen there OR enter the world of Princess and the Frog. Check out New Orleans and all it’s magic 🙂

  • I’d love to beable to step into TANGLED! :o)

  • Oh I would so love to be in Alice in Wonderland! The mystical creatures and amazing environments would be so exciting. And of course ending with an amazing tea party full of crazy delicious food!

  • Any Disney story? I think I’d like to walk into Lilo and Stitch. A Hawaiian vacation sounds nice. Can we stay at Aulani?
