Presenting the Disney Dream! – Also in October, we introduced you to the Disney Dream, the newest ship coming to the Disney Cruise Line.

Walt Disney World’s Classic Space Mountain Attraction to Reopen with a Few Surprises – We announced on the Disney Parks Blog that Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom park would be reopening with brand-new features.
Mobile Magic – First Disney Parks Mobile App Now Available – Mobile Magic made its debut in November.
Blog Exclusive: First Video of the Most Sophisticated Audio-Animatronics Technology Yet – We took you behind the scenes of our most sophisticate audio-animatronics.

Roy E. Disney, Key Figure in Revitalizing The Walt Disney Company, Disney’s Animation Legacy, Dies at Age 79 – In December, we observed the passing of Roy E. Disney, a vital figure in the development of the Walt Disney Company.
A Model Day at Epcot — Exclusive Disney Parks Tilt-Shift Video – The second in our popular tilt-shift series made its debut in December.

Disney Parks Launches ‘Give a Day, Get a Disney Day’ – We kicked off the new year with a brand new celebration. “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” offered one million Guests admission to the park of their choice in return for one day’s volunteer service.
Aloha Aulani! Disney’s New Destination Resort in Hawai`i – Also in January, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i, was announced.

First Guests See ‘Captain EO’ – The Captain returned to Disneyland park in February.
Main Street Electrical Parade Returns to Walt Disney World Resort this Summer – Also in February, we announce that Main Street Electrical Parade would be returning to Walt Disney World Resort later in the year.
First Disney Parks Blog Pins – In February, the exclusive Disney Parks Blog pins made their first appearance.
Celebrity Athletes, Governor Crist Help Kickoff ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Event – Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex officially became the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at a star-studded event in February.
March 2010
Fantasyland Expansion Begins with Groundbreaking at Magic Kingdom Park – In March, we officially broke ground for the new Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom park.
‘Give a Day, Get a Disney Day’ Reaches Goal – 1M Inspired to Volunteer – Disney Parks Guests certainly have the spirit of volunteerism. After just three months, we reached our goal of one million volunteers for the “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” celebration.
Disney Legend Fess Parker Remembered – We observed the passing of Disney legend Fess Parker.
Disney Monorail Trains to Feature ‘TRON: LEGACY’ Art – What’s that speeding overhead at Walt Disney World Resort? Disney monorail trains featuring ‘TRON: LEGACY’ art made their debut in March.
‘Disney Premier Passport’ Unveiled – Also in March, we announced the new Disney Premier Passport.

A Model Vacation on Disney Cruise Line – Exclusive Tilt-Shift Video – Joining our other wildly popular tilt-shift videos, “A Model Vacation on Disney Cruise Line” debuted in April.

Mickey Mouse: ‘Testing … One, Two, Three … Testing.’ – Mickey Mouse broke his silence here on the Disney Parks Blog with this video, in which he chats with Guests at Disneyland park.
First Look: Cars Land Welcomes the First Test Vehicle for Radiator Springs Racers – In May, readers got a first look at Radiator Springs Racers vehicles for the new attraction at Disney California Adventure park.
First Meet-Up at Disneyland Resort – We held our first-ever meet-up at the Disneyland Resort in May, giving lucky attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Toy Story Mania! and treating them to an after-hours ride on the attraction.

Video from Blue Carpet and World Premiere of ‘World of Color’ – In June, “World of Color” made its grand premiere at Disney California Adventure park.

Update: Monthly Payments Program at Walt Disney World – In June, we announced that Florida residents wishing to purchase annual passes for Walt Disney World would have the option to pay in monthly installments.

‘Captain EO’ Returns to Walt Disney World – Following a successful return to Disneyland Resort, “Captain EO” opened in July at Walt Disney World.

New Star Tours Video Makes Us Ask: Where Will the New Star Tours Attraction Take Us? – In August, we gave you a look at a video that will be included in the new Star Tours attraction coming to Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
