We’re celebrating veterans at Disney Parks today and a little later Heather will be sharing a special post from Disneyland Resort. But to begin things, here’s a video we shared last year showing how we honor veterans at our flag retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom park.

Also, we haven’t shared this yet but during the week of November 15, Disney Vacation Club is offering a webinar with a holiday twist. The “Memories Unwrapped “ webcast will feature videos, music and holiday cheer, as well as updates on Aulani and the latest DVC offers. If you log in, you get a free Disney lithograph. So, go to www.dvcwebevent.com during the week of November 15th and join in the yuletide spirit, virtually.

  • My kids got to say the Pledge at the WDW Magic Kingdom veterans day flag retreat yesterday, what an honor. Very special memory.

  • My husband had the distinct honor of doing the flag retreat on the 5th anniversary of 9-11 and also on 2 other occasions when we were there. I can’t help but cry each time. It is an honor we are very proud to have been given…..Thank you Disney for all your support of our troops, current, past, & future…

  • Wonderful way to honor veterans, military personnel, and families. Sad that the DVC webinar is not available to those in Hawaii (Hawaii is not listed when trying to register).

  • Can’t wait for my husband to return from Iraq to participate during our trip next year!

  • I do love how the Magic Kingdom honors our Veterans!
