Making Holiday Memories at Walt Disney World

What are two things we all want at Christmas? The ability to make dreams come true and create memories. That’s why guests come from all over the world to experience the holidays at Disney Parks. But this year, with the help of Mickey and Minnie and Disney Floral & Gifts, we can help you take your holiday experience one step further – right into your very own Walt Disney World Resort room and perhaps for some, even their home.

Imagine coming back to your room to discover that Mickey and Minnie have created a holiday In-Room Celebration prepared just for you and your loved ones. This personalized over-the-top celebration is called “Dreaming of a Disney Christmas.” It’s full of so many gifts and surprises and it makes you feel like all of Disney has stopped to create a warm welcome just for you.

But Mickey and Minnie didn’t stop there. While there may be Christmas trees in the parks, now you can have Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Tree delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort room (or we can even ship it to your house). With your family’s name in several spots, you’ll feel like this personalized tree was made for you!

And if you’re looking for something special to place under the tree, we have all sorts of gifts to choose from that can help you give the gift of a memory. Some of them can even be shipped home, but I’ll save that for another post real soon. Just remember, it’s the memories made from these gifts that make your holiday special. So let us join you this season, whether here at Walt Disney World or back at home. We’d be tickled to help you give the gift of a memory. Call 407-WDW-GIFT or visit Disneyflorist.com.

  • Sure would be handy to know how much it is without being redirected to another page only to find out you have to call for pricing 🙁

  • We will be at Disney World the week of Christmas and so we got Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Tree ($400 FYI) for our room while we are there. I can’t wait to see it in person! My kids are going to love it! It will also be a great reminder of our Christmas trip to Disney World for years to come. 🙂

    • We look forward to having you and your family Jamie. Is this your first holiday here at Walt Disney World?

  • I agree with the previous comment. Would be nice to have the price listed so we don’t have to make an additional phone call. 🙁

  • I love the Spirit Of Christmas and The Good feelings we all share.

  • Thanks for your thoughts on calling for the price. Your opinions are imporant so this is a good opportunity to ask for everyone’s thoughts…would everyone like me to list the price of a gift when I share a post?

We’re happy to share that there is so much personalization on the In Room Celebration and the tree, we want to provide every attention to detail for you to ensure your gifts are magical. By speaking with you, we can ask questions on personalization, provide insight on details to make your stay extra special.

I’m new to the blog.. so if you’d like pricing with each post.. I’m happy to fulfill your wishes. 🙂

Let me know what you think.

  • Would really like to know pricing. My family will be there over the holidays and it is something I’m interested in. But $400 for a little tree is a little pricey!

    • Thanks for your comments Ivy. Mickey and Minnie must have had you in mind when he created two other “tree” offerings. Mickey and Friends Holiday Tree is available for $169…and I have an inside secret to share…

Very very soon we will be posting a new gift showcasing a much smaller tree, with a magical touch… the price will be under $75… this new offering should be on our website realllly soon. Stay tuned.

And, how ’bout we have some fun “creating”.. If you were to create a magical tree that you know guests would just love, what would that tree look like?

  • Thank you for sharing, Jean!

I do so enjoy these helpful tips. Three families from Australia will be traveling to share Christmas in Disneyland and WDW. I was wondering what to do about a Christmas tree, as we didn’t really fancy bringing one all the way from Down Under. The kids were worried that Santa wouldn’t know where to find us or where to put the presents. Now I know! What a wonderful surprise for my family and for my friends too! (I’m going to keep this one to myself)

In answer to your question, yes, pricing is always helpful in the planning, saving and budgeting department. It couldn’t hurt to include as much information as possible. Phone numbers are also handy, so that we can arrange that extra personal touch, should we choose.

    Thanks again Jean!

    • Good question Rachel. If you take a look at our website…disneyflorist.com, you’ll find a holiday tab on the left side of the page to view a variety of Christmas gift ideas. As a Dream Maker, I so enjoy recommending a variety of gift ideas to make your visit extra special. So I’m glad you asked.

If you’re looking for something extra special, I’d like to recommend a gift themed to your childrens favorite Disney characters. So, just to give you an idea of what is possible… If you had a little girl, we could recommend our “Princess in Training” gift that “teaches” her how to be a Princess. As parents we teach our children every day…now you could build into the life of your daughter with an enchanting surprise. And, of course the card message could read, “Welcome to our royal court Princess”. Love, the Disney Princesses.

I’d recommend giving a Dream Maker a call at 407-WDW-GIFT, or since that would be long distance, you can view our website of disneyflorist.com. If/when you speak to a Dream Maker, let them know what your children like and they can suggest some ideas for you. We want to make this holiday special for your family. 🙂

  • Hi Jean,
I love your posts. I’ve never ordered a Christmas tree from Disney florist, but have ordered birthday arrangements and an Easter arrangement- both were GORGEOUS!!! If I could design a magical Disney Christmas tree, it would be loaded with Hidden Mickeys! My kids would have so much fun trying to find them all! Happy Holidays!

  • Agree, I love the tree! This is a great idea, I’ve considered visiting WDW for the holidays, but would miss some of the decorations from home – this looks like a nice compromise and I think it’s great that you’re considering lower-priced options.

  • Jean- Yes, it is our first Holiday at WDW. It is also our very first visit to WDW! We have been Disneyland AP’s for years but decided that our kids are finally old enough and big enough for Disney World! The trip and the tree are a surprise! Only 20 more days, I can hardly wait!!!

  • $400.00 is crazy! I think Walt himself would be very disappointed that guests of his parks are taken advantage of.
    Especially at Christmas!

  • Thanks for all of the wonderful post Jean. My family and I are returning to Disney for the fourth consecutive Christmas! We spend 14-17 (Christmas and New Year) at Disney and we LOVE IT! It’s nice to know about the Disney Gifts but since we drive down we bring our own tree and the kids enjoy decorating it. Housekeeping gets in on the fun and will often leave a decoration each day.

My question is since we’re there for so long do you have any recommendations of things to do that we may not be aware of?
