Local dance crew sensation, and the winner of Season 5’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” on MTV, Poreotics, will bring their fiercely entertaining mixed dance style to ElecTRONica, November 21 to 24.
The dance crew champions have won over the nation with their distinctive style: an integration of unexpected humor with incredible popping and robotic movements. This November, these shades-wearing showmen will bring their fantastic animated moves and unique humor to an all-new TRON themed performance, created exclusively for ElecTRONica.
The name “Poreotics” comes from their unique style and showmanship: popping choreography robotics. I think that’s pretty cool.
Poreotics will perform two sets a night on the Hollywood Pictures Backlot stage as part of an already full night of entertainment inside the Grid. Check this crew out, only during ElecTRONica at Disney California Adventure park. See you there!

OMG! So awesome! There should be a special MeetUp for this. Not a lot of people are aware of ABDC or Poreotics.
This is awesome! I watched Poreotix climb to the top on ABDC5. What’s even greater is that I went to high school with Can Nguyen (member with the bleached and pink-ish hair). We had precalculus class together and would talk from time to time. They would perform at banquets for our school district’s KEY Clubs (community service organization). It’s so great to see how far he and his friends have come.

This looks AMAZING!! But please do NOT play more top 40. I can hear that stuff on all the radio stations. Going to Disneyland is special and hearing the DJ play some of those killer remixes of both old and new songs made me dance around like a little kid!
YAY! I love these guys. Poreotics and elecTRONica at Disney California Adventure…Duh! That totally make sense… They are sooo funny too. I like watching their videos on their website they have also done stuff with Ryan Higga, Justin Bieber, Nike…America’s Best Dance Crew Poreotics knows how to get teh crowd movin!!!

These guys were actually there a while back! i remember seeing a few of them dancing at elecTRONica!
Please keep top 40 music out of ElecTRONica. It does not fit into the theme and the DJs remixes are amazing. Besides Top 40 is no good to dance to.

And please no Top 40 at elecTRONica. I am loving the 80’s mixes they are doing, and it really sets the mood. Top 40 can be played anywhere else, in any mall in America. elecTRONica is special, and deserves the special music it’s been playing and that’s been making it so popular.
I’ve been to Disneyland probably close to 100 times by now, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve had so much fun at Disneyland as when I went to ElecTRONica last Friday night. Disney has tapped into a whole new market and I definitely would love to see night time events like these continue in the future.

Hooray! An excuse to go to eleTRONica again! I’ve been a few times and have had a great time.
However, I was really disappointed with the music when I went this weekend. I loved the few 80s mixes that I heard, but otherwise, the music was primarily all Top 40 which was jarring compared to the look of the place and not much fun. When I went to the first weekend, the 80s mixes were mixed with Daft Punk and other techno music, and it combined to make the experience feel so much more like TRON. It really made the atmosphere! This time, with so much Top 40, we didn’t “close the park” and headed home a bit early.
I hope the music is more TRON-like and less Top 40 next time so we stick around!
