Disney Parks AOL Travel Contest

Here’s something to get busy working on right now. Create a video of you telling the family or how you would tell them, “We’re going on a Disney Vacation!” and there’s a chance you’ll win a Disney vacation from AOL Travel. This new contest is live and it’s simple to enter; just visit the AOL Travel page for details and learn the dos and don’ts – like no music or singing.

'I'm Going To' on Walt Disney World Facebook

And you may not have seen this yet but we’ve launched the first vacation planning community within the official Walt Disney World and Disneyland Facebook pages. You can ask and answer questions about upcoming visits, find planning resources and there are a few surprises. Go to Facebook.com/Disneyland or Facebook.com/WaltDisneyWorld and click on the “I’m Going…” tab to check it out for yourself.

Now, here are a few other items of interest that haven’t hit the blog.

Comments

  • the vacation planning community sounds interesting, but how will it be more effective than the Mom’s Panel (other than the fact that it offers Disneyland advice as well?) will the Mom’s Panel join it or phased into this community? Mom’s Panel was a HUGE help planning my last vacation, so i would like to know for my next one!

    • Glad to hear the Walt Disney World Moms Panel was such a huge help for you. We’re proud of the Moms Panel and all the great advice and tips they offer. The Moms Panel remains one of our most successful programs we have that helps Guests plan their Disney vacations. This January we’ll be announcing our newest panel members for 2011 – representing the largest panel we’ve had since the program launched in 2008.
