As Santa starts loading his sleigh this week, the countdown is also on for the “Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade” telecast, airing Dec. 25 on ABC-TV. The annual holiday special is a tradition in many households, including ours, as both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort deck the halls in a big way. This year, there will be a lot of rockin’ around the Christmas tree with appearances and performances by stars including Mariah Carey, Ryan Seacrest, Nick Cannon, Selena Gomez, pro dancers from “Dancing With the Stars,” Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Amber Riley, Darius Rucker, Debby Ryan, Jackie Evancho, Sean Kingston, Lee DeWyze, Maria Menounos and Samantha Brown.
And, there are even more ways to get involved with the festivities. Disney Online just launched Disney.com/ChristmasParade – an online stocking stuffed with a treasure trove of videos, celebrity interviews and behind-the-scenes segments. Also, fans are invited to join our parade mobile text alert program to get more fun info. You can sign up now by texting PARADE to 37275 (DPARK).*

Nick Cannon really? Please do not let him host again until he gets some more experience. He is doing a terrible job. He was not comfortable in front of the camera.
Can’t wait to watch this!!! I love Mickey and we go to Disney every year.. This year we are taken 2 spceial children.
I really wish this was broadcast in the UK as well. Ive never been lucky enough to see a WDW Christmas parade, and if it was on in the UK, i know it would be the highlight of my Christmas! PLease please please put it on in the UK!
Watching the parade on Christmas morning is a tradition with my family as well. My favorite WDWCDP was, I believe, from 2007, and is my favorite because it featured very few celeberties and LOTS of Disney Characters (and the few celebs you had, I liked). I must admit, I don’t care to see a fair amount of the talent that gets invited (sorry guys). I love to see stars from Disney movies stop in, like Anika Noni Rose singing the Princess and the Frog medley. I’d really love to see Mandy Moore and the cast of Tangled sing a Tangled medley. And I think it would be SUPER awesome if you had Tim Allen come in dressed as Santa like in the Santa ClausE movies. I can’t wait until Christmas morning! Only 5 days to go!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!
Is the parade really not airing until 5 at night for the Pacific?! I always remember watching it in the late morning. . . .
Please please please show this on Disney Channel UK….
I love this parade so much and it has been a tradition in my family to watch it every morning as long as I can remember. Is there any reason why the Pacific time is so late in the evening?
Any chance of this production being broadcast in the UK please
We were there while they taped this at WDW. It was so fun! I can’t wait to see it all on TV!
Oh my gosh!! I can’t believe they have Phineas and Ferb!! We were just there in August and they didn’t have them. I guess now we’ll just HAVE to go back next year! 🙂
Been watching this every year since 1992, and been attending the tapings at WDW since 2007. This is a yearly tradition for me and I would never miss it for the world!
Yeah Encore! The Disney Cast Choir in the gold robes in front of Cinderella’s Castle! Wish I could have been there.
I can’t wait to see the performance and the view of Main Street. Its always a tradition for us to point out point out the shops which we visit the months before.
This is my favorite part of Christmas Day. We wake up, have a nice breakfast, and sit down and watch the Disney Christmas Day Parade. After that, I wouldn’t mind just getting back in bed and sleeping the rest of the day.
I can’t wait. This has always been a family tradition at my house and now it is a tradition with my husband, daughter and I.
