Big Foot

It’s Monday and look at what we’ve found. Our weekly mystery image in need of an ID is a large foot located somewhere in the parks. But watch your step; It may not be where you think it is. Have you seen it? Please put your answers in the comments and we’ll update the post with the answer later today.

Welcome to Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

You got it, that’s part of your welcome to Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There’s plenty to do in this mini-land at DinoLand U.S.A. and of course, it has a fun story. The story goes that, to make a fast buck, the two entrepreneurs (Chester and Hester) decided to turn their gas station into a fossil souvenir business — Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures — an “Emporium of Extinction” and gaudy roadside stand complete with rubber dinosaurs and plastic knickknacks. Seizing an opportunity for more excitement, the duo also added the old-fashioned carnival of bright string lights, amusing attractions and dino-themed midway games to complete Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama!

How’d you do this week?

  • I know it well, Dino Land at Animal Kingdom!!! My grandchildren, my husband and I have been on this ride many times. YEAH!! We just returned from WDW today. SO MUCH FUN 🙂

  • I remember so well Tom! I remember I had to stop my whole party at Animal Kingdom just to get a picture near it! 😀

  • @Andrea, I was about to leave a similar comment, except it seems to me that it’s always from Animal Kingdom.

  • Gotta be Dino Land in Animal Kingdom

  • I’m thinking it’s the Alligator/Dinosaur in front of Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney!

  • Chester and Hester’s in Dinoland USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  • Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama. Any news on this land getting a Paradise Pier type makeover, or a replacement? I know I’m not alone in thinking the Midway Games and off the shelf rides feel out of place in a Disney park

  • Chester and Hesters Dino-Rama entrance – the dinos are holding up the entry sign

  • I’m going with the majority and saying Dino-Land at Animal Kingdom. I know it’s not Gertie’s at Hollywood Studios because that dinosaur is a brontosaurus and you can’t see it’s feet….his feet would be standing in the water since the restaurant is in his body.

  • Dino-Rama! At Animal Kingdom! wuuuujuuuu

  • Hollywood Studios….Ice Cream shop

  • My 6 year old son is telling me Dino-land!

    • Nice, give him a high five. Perfect.

  • I’m gonna guess that it is located at the Tricera-Top Spin ride.

  • I think the title of this should change to “Where at Walt Disney World Can You Find?”

There is NEVER a thing from Disneyland. It’d be nice if there were!

  • That is the ice cream place at Hollywood Studios across from the Indiana Jones attraction. I think it’s called “Gertie’s”. 🙂
