Fireworks at Disneyland Resort

We saved the best for last!

We may be the last Disney park around the world to ring in 2011, but we’re still the first Disney park to open our gates.

On behalf of all the cast members at the Disneyland Resort, I wish you a very happy and safe new year.

Here’s to another great year!

Comments

  • Last but never least! Thanks Tom and Heather for some great pictures over the last year. I look forward to what is to come!

  • I am here at Disneyland. It’s only 10:30pm. Is this a picture from the 8:40 fireworks show? Cause Midnight isn’t for another hour and a half. Just wondering.

  • Beautiful!!! Some year, I’m going to be there on New Year’s Eve!!!

  • Awesome shot. Loved spending NYE 2010 at Disneyland, can’t wait to return this December.

  • Disneyland is still and always be beter the WDWR

  • If @Caleb from NV is correct, why didn’t Disneyland shoot a photo of the midnight fireworks and run it like the other parks did?

  • #2 Caleb from NV
Confirming your comment, even though it is “listed” at 1:40 a.m.
The blog must post comment times as eastern-standard / WDW time.
Just figured the above picture was from New Years 2009 / 2010 after seeing it a half hour after midnight e.s.t., three hours ahead of pacific-time zone.

  • Where was that picture taken from? The red and white tent to the right must be the bandstand at the very end of Main Street, so clearly the photog is behind the castle and slightly off towards Adventure Land. Was it from Thunder Mountain? The roof of a building or paddock backstage?

  • From a former Cast Member (1988) to Heather and all the other Disney Cast Members around the world, thanks for working on the 2010-2011 Holiday Season and for making it a special time for all!

  • Where is snow on Sleeping Beauty castle ?
