Popular Pixar pals from “The Incredibles” and “Monsters, Inc.” are popping up throughout Disney California Adventure park. Replacing the Pixar Play Parade while it’s on hiatus during expansion of Disney California Adventure park, the “Pixar Pals” shows are new, fun-filled, 10-minute interactive experiences that invite you to dance, laugh and test your superhero skills. The first pop-up features “The Incredibles: Heroes in Training Squad.” The “Monsters, Inc.” show will debut on January 28th. Both mini-shows will run throughout the day Fridays through Tuesdays in front of the “ElecTRONica” stage in the entry plaza, and in front of the “Cloud Wall” near the entrance to the Hyperion Theater.

This show looks really sweet I cant wait to see in live when we are there in Spring!
It’s just great that they used Mezmerella from the Incredibles comic books on the target practice float. It’s been a really good series so far and it’s nice to see other parts of the company acknowledge it.
Now if the series just wasn’t delayed until summer right before it’s climactic story arc. Leaving on a cliffhanger with the family being run out of town by the villain team’s scheme to discredit the supers is quite the downer.
I’ve seen the Heroes in Training Squad in person. Its a fun little show, and its great that the park is still offering some street entertainment during the expansion.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the Monsters Inc mini-show is like.
Having said that, I am really looking forward to the rest of the park’s expansion! Its very exciting to know that the Little Mermaid ride opens this year.
