Today, we have some news about the Disney Wonder. As you may know, next summer she will set sail for seven-night voyages to Alaska for the first time ever. To add to that excitement, this morning we announced a special offer for families – well, kids in particular. On select seven-night Alaskan cruises between May 3 to June 7, 2011, kids get to sail for free!
Guests 17 and under can sail free on seven-night voyages aboard the Disney Wonder when traveling with two full-fare paying guests in the same Verandah or Oceanview stateroom (Government Taxes and Fees not included). This offer is valid for most sailings departing May 3 to June 7, 2011, and covers Verandah and Oceanview stateroom categories (categories 4A to 9D).
Guests sailing to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder will experience breathtaking natural vistas, an abundance of wildlife and the rich history and customs of Alaska’s native culture, combined with a family-friendly cruise only Disney can deliver. The seven-night cruises call on Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, and mark the first time ever that Disney Cruise Line will sail to Alaska.
Rates for the seven-night Alaska itinerary start at $1,249 per person for an Oceanview stateroom, based on double occupancy.

That’s a pretty decent offer and we would so go, but it’s during school so since this offer is directed toward kids, it’s pretty much useless. Sadly. 🙁
It sounds like a WONDERFUL (or should I say magical) offer. I would GLADLY pull my kids out of school for this educational field trip (almost any school will excuse the absence for an educational trip). There’s just no way I can afford it [sigh] even at this price.
We returned today from sailing the wonder on this same deal. It does make for a crazy number of kids onboard. It is a very good Dallas though. I hope soon the winery will get some resources in the way of character variety to help them transition to 7 night cruises.
