Ursula has arrived! The infamous evil sea witch moved into her lair this week inside The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction and the Disney Parks Blog was there to capture the excitement. Our amazing team of Walt Disney Imagineers offered a behind-the-scenes look at how Ursula was installed. Check it out.

And Ursula was also part of our three-part series this week featuring the beautiful Disney Dream Portraits created by Annie Leibovitz for Disney Parks. We went behind the scenes of each photo shoot beginning with Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen.

Comments

  • The mechanical engineering, plastics, robotics and textiles used on Ursula looks unreal. The attraction opening on June 3rd makes me want to move down there so I can attend in person.

  • I’m looking forward to The Little Mermaid ride, that Ursula figure is awesome! I can’t wait to ride!
