I always love walking around Epcot during the International Flower & Garden Festival. The extraordinary topiaries are always a highlight, especially when combined with trees and flowers at peak bloom. Near the France Pavilion, the life-sized Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip are surrounded by blooming pink trumpet trees. To give what was a static scene a sense of movement, I used a neutral density filter to blur the blossoms and branches into swirls of color.

I also got to capture this extrordinary image. Never thought to use a neutral density filter. Will have to modify this in Photoshop to try the same effect. It is a shame that the flowering tulip trees don’t last longer!
I will be going to WDW in May, I hope to get some great pictures as well
Can’t wait to go to see all of this….so beautiful!
This picture is beautiful!
This is such a beautiful photo. I just love it. Any chance you can post a high resolution image of this photo??? It would make a great destop background.
I was at the Flower and Garden Festival for the first weekend and everything was so beautiful. I especially loved all the topiaries and those pink flower trees that were everywhere.

My Gosh! Just absolutely beautiful! You brightened my day with this photo, thank you
Went the first day of festival, just breathtaking. One of the best events at WDW.
@maureen, sorry Flower and Garden festival only runs thru May.
This is lovely. Does anyone know how long the topiaries will be visible. We are planning a trip in June and were wondering if we would still see some of them.
Beautiful picture… I can’t wait to see it for real!
