Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora at Epcot's France Pavilion

I always love walking around Epcot during the International Flower & Garden Festival. The extraordinary topiaries are always a highlight, especially when combined with trees and flowers at peak bloom. Near the France Pavilion, the life-sized Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip are surrounded by blooming pink trumpet trees. To give what was a static scene a sense of movement, I used a neutral density filter to blur the blossoms and branches into swirls of color.

  • I also got to capture this extrordinary image. Never thought to use a neutral density filter. Will have to modify this in Photoshop to try the same effect. It is a shame that the flowering tulip trees don’t last longer!

  • I will be going to WDW in May, I hope to get some great pictures as well

  • Can’t wait to go to see all of this….so beautiful!
