HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

NFL star Jason Witten and soccer great Mia Hamm were part of a colorful ceremony this morning to reveal the newly re-imagined HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.

The sports celebs were joined by ESPN radio personalities Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, Mickey Mouse, Goofy and executives from Disney and HP at the complex where the field house’s new name was unveiled amid confetti, fireworks and a blast of squishy balls.

As part of its expanded relationship with Disney, HP has outfitted the renowned sports complex with a wealth of technology that will allow athletes, coaches and fans “hands-on’’ opportunities to customize their sports experience by downloading, designing and printing commemorative photos and images – eventually even life-size posters – from their sports events. You can even create your own unique avatar for your official sports complex credential.

It’s all very cool stuff for the zillions of tech-savvy young athletes who compete and train at the sports complex each year. Disney and HP believe that, combined with all of the ESPN features at the complex, the HP enhancements will ensure athletes, coaches and fans have an even more immersive sports experience that will take youth sports to a new level.
