Hey there, Disney fans! You know I love sharing the latest scoop as soon as I hear about it. Well, word on the street (D Street!) is about an art show coming May 14. ACME Archives’ Director of Business Development James Monosmith has offered you, our Disney Parks Blog fans, the first look at some of the new pieces making their debut at D Street in the Downtown Disney District.

What you are about to see is no Jedi mind trick. There are more than 10 new Star Wars-inspired art pieces being released. Here are a couple of my favorites.

“Resurrection” by Steven Daily
“Cruise the Galaxy” by Steve Thomas
“Use the Force, Luke” by William Silvers
“Knight of Passage” by Jerry Vanderstelt

If you’re looking for something a little more out of this world as decor for your home or office, then be sure to check out these new releases.

“Prelude” by David Ho
“ENCOM Grand Prix” by Steve Thomas
“Walking Home” by Melissa Suber
“Steam Punk Willy” by William Silvers

As if this great art wasn’t enough, Disney and Star Wars artist Steven Daily just signed on to do a special art demonstration starting at 3 p.m. May 14.

Want to know about other art is ‘in store’ for you during the show? Check out the entire collection on www.DisneyDStreet.com and if you’re in the neighborhood on May 14 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., be sure to swing by and check it out. Tell them I sent you!
