If you’re looking for a high-spirited place to celebrate the Royal Wedding today, look no further than the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot, which is full of cast members from the United Kingdom who can’t wait to share this historic day with guests.

I headed over earlier this morning to witness the excitement firsthand. The entire pavilion has been festooned with flags in honor of this special occasion, and I watched as cast members greeted one another with calls of “happy wedding day!” Many stopped to take photos together, so that years from now, they’d have a nice remembrance of just where they were the day their future king wed.

And their enthusiasm for the prince and his new bride was contagious – especially Food & Beverage Hostess Lindsay Adams, who shared that she was born and raised in St. Andrew’s, Scotland, where Prince William attended school.

“This is a special day for me because he went to school in St. Andrew’s,” Lindsay said. “I saw William a few times around town when he was in school there. I was there when he graduated, and the Queen was there and it was quite a big matter.”

And Food & Beverage Hostess Jenny Watkinson, from St. Helen’s, England, who set her alarm clock extra early so she wouldn’t miss a moment of the festivities.

“I got up very early and watched the entire thing on the Internet,” Jenny said. “I’ve been getting more and more excited, and now the day is actually here. I can’t quite believe how excited I am, about the whole thing. I can’t wait to share the day with guests and answer their questions.”

In addition to excited cast members, guests can expect to find special touches today at the Rose & Crown Dining Room, including Royal Wedding trivia. Lucky families who visit during lunch and dinner also may be surprised with a Royal Wedding Reception Magical Moment, which will be done completely at random and involve complimentary wedding cake.
