Part of the magic at Disney Parks is the incredible staff. Since launching the blog in the fall of 2009, we’ve regularly introduced readers to cast members ranging from animal experts to character artists and more. Have you seen any of these cast members at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort?
Take 5: Cast Member Profiles
- Every Role a Starring Role – Inside the Custodial Guest Services Role at Disneyland Resort – These individuals are called custodial guest services cast members for a reason. Their very visible presence in the parks allows them to answer guest questions, create personal connections and – now – entertain through character water art.
- Meet the Animal Experts at Disneyland Resort – Last October, we introduced you to a few of our animal experts, Maggie Gitchen and Gina Mayberry, who devote their time to making sure that our animals are happy, safe and well at Circle D and Disneyland park.
- Meet the Disneyland Resort Sign Shop Cast – This past summer, we shared a video of some of the handiest folks this side of Main Street, U.S.A., our cast members at the Disneyland Resort Sign Shop.
- Disney’s ‘Ducky’ Draws Donald Duck – Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how this cast member, Don “Ducky” Williams draws his favorite Disney character— Donald Duck.
- Walt Disney World Greeter Inspires Guests – Cast Member, Art Lark’s job is to make sure you have a good day when visiting Disney’s Beach Club Resort and guests from around the world look forward to seeing him when they visit the resort.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Wade from Disneyland who I read about here last year (he is just not featured in the 5 above). I thought he was at the disneyland hotel but he surprised my family and I with incredible magic at the Plaza restaurant on MAIN STREET just a few months ago!! I think Disney made him a manager now and he is such a treasure! You should really do a “where are they now?” update on the profiles, I’d love to see how these amazing Cast Members change, grow and continue to make people the happiest in the world!
I thought Art retired. Is he back?
Hi,
I met Art and had my photo taken with him and he was so polite and always had that warm smile. I thougt Art had retired though because when we stayed at the Beach Club in 2007
there was a different door greeter there.
Another wonderful cast member was Stan at the Wilderness Lodge.
