A Wave of Pirates Comes Ashore at D Street at the Disneyland Resort!

Let’s continue to ride the wave with all things “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Are you the first one in line every time a new film is released? Do you love Vinylmation? If the answer to all these questions is yes, then you are going to love this Disney Parks Blog post!

On May 21, “X” will mark the spot for this newly discovered treasure. D Street is set to welcome several local artists who have created custom, one-of-a-kind 9” Vinylmation figures reminiscent of scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and film.

“Creative expression is at the heart of Vinylmation,” says Product Developer Donald Ferro, and the blank Vinylmation figure offers a unique platform for artists to showcase their talent. We received an overwhelming response from artists eager to create custom, Pirate-themed Vinylmation for this event. As you can see, each artist has taken a different approach and has captured each scene in different medium, style and technique.”
