Phineas and Ferb with Disney Channel Star Alyson Stoner at a Disney Magic of Healthy Living Event

Hi everyone. I just received word that Disney Channel animated stars, Phineas and Ferb (pictured above with Disney Channel star Alyson Stoner at a Disney Magic of Healthy Living event), are pushing back the opening date for their play ‘n’ greet experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Originally scheduled to debut in mid-May, the duo will actually arrive at their new movie-themed play ‘n’ greet experience in a few more weeks. The experience will follow the characters as they make a movie about their crazy adventures, with a little help from guests and movie Director Cletus Filmore.

When asked the reasons behind the delay, a representative for Phineas and Ferb cited a mix-up in the boys’ school schedules, as they’ll actually be finishing up school in late May.

In addition, Pooh’s new meet and greet experience at The Magic of Disney Animation attraction also has been pushed back.

The Disney Parks Blog will bring you the new dates as soon as possible.

  • OH NO! We’ll be at WDW in late May, early June, and my girls ADORE P&F!!

  • Our whole family is very excited about meeting P&F in August in our pre-D23Expo trip to WDW. However, I am a little confused about Pooh taking a spot in the Magic of Animation building. I know this spot has traditionally been used for the latest movie (we have already had the new Pooh movie here in the UK) and is great for just that reason; because its usually a new character that you do not see everywhere else. But we already meet Pooh Bear a dozen times a trip at the Crystal Palace, or by the ride, or on the boat landing at AK etc etc. As much as I liked the new Pooh movie and meeting Pooh, I want someone in Animation that is new or rare; seems like a waste it just being another Pooh meet; I’d rather see it advance hyping Brave.

  • Yes, I am a 30-year old woman, and no I don’t have kids. But, I am really excited to meet Phineas and Ferb 🙂 One chance flip of the remote and I gained a new favorite show. I hope that they will be debuting before August (99 days until my next trip)!

  • Okay but I hope they don’t get stuck in Summer School because we will be there in July and We were really excited to see Phineas and Ferb!!!!

  • Hope these experiences going by June 2.
