A few weeks back, we took a look at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland, which re-opened this past Friday. For those of you who haven’t made it to the parks for a visit yet, here is a look at the X-wing starfighter that I teased you about. I hate to state the obvious, but it really is out of this world! If you’re on planetary patrol and keeping tabs on all things Star Tours, then be prepared to get on board because these are definite ‘must haves’ that you won’t want to miss.

Excited for the opening of Goofy’s Sky School and already looking to find that special souvenir to commemorate your visit? Keep your eyes open for collectible pins that are available now at nearby merchandise locations – you’ll definitely want to jet in and check them out. Passholders, before take-off, make sure to do a ‘fly by’ of Embarcadero Gifts, as we will be releasing the Goofy’s Sky School Passholder commemorative coin starting May 31. Special Tip: The artwork used in the design of the coin is based on Walt Disney Imagineering art for the attraction.

Last but not least, on July 1, make way for our newest location, Seaside Souvenirs (previously Souvenir 66). This new merchandise shop is a true treasure trove. It’s the one-stop shop for Little Mermaid and World of Color souvenirs and a great place to have items personalized with embroidery. Here’s a special sneak a peek of the new logo for Seaside Souvenirs.

  • I’ve seen the new Star Trader in person, and its really cool! I love the new effect that shows silhouettes of Star Wars aliens.

I can’t wait for Star Tours to open!

    Michelle–
Will Embarcadero Gifts be in the remaining San Francisco building next to the Little Mermaid ride?

    • Hey Fred! Embarcadero Gifts is actually located right across from the entrance to The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction. I guess you could say it is east of the new attraction, if that helps.

  • Is this the same X-Wing that was upstairs in the arcade (going missed by so many guests over the years)?

  • Rika–
Yes it is! Michelle confirmed it in a previous post. 🙂

  • I can’t wait to check out the new Star Trader, and all the cool new Star Tours themed merch, when I’m at the HAPPEST PLACE ON EARTH in June.

  • Hey Disney Fans! Quick update! It looks like Seaside Souvenirs will be opening on May 20 now! So be sure to check it out.

  • I always see all kinds of special merchandise for “Annual Passholders”. Like the “Goofy’s Sky School” coin.
I’m thinking of getting the new Disney Premiere Pass. Would this make me eligible for “Annual Passholder” merchandise? Or is “Annual Passholder” merchandise only available for residents of Florida or California that are “Annual Passholders”?
