You two look like two Princesses! yourselves. The kids are sooooo cute! Is Ariel’s ride, handicapped accessible? I can walk but can’t do stairs, is there a step down/up?
As others have commented, the attraction has a clam shell that actually allows a guest using a wheelchair to just roll right on. This ride vehicle can accommodate manual wheelchairs and power wheelchairs but it cannot accommodate Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) or scooters. Guests using ECVs will be asked to transfer to an available manual wheelchair provided at the attraction.
If you want to avoid stairs, talk to a cast member at the entrance and they can help you.
Very cool. Its a great ride.
Yes, the ride is handicapped accessible. There are no stairs. 🙂
Yes, the line is handicapped accessible 🙂
Marie, The ride is 100% handicapped accessible and for those guests that do require a wheelchair there is a specially designed King Tritons Chariot ride vehicle for you and your wheelchair to enjoy this beautiful Undersea Adventure. Mariska and Debra look great, it is great to see friends enjoying the parks with there kids.
All of Disney’s California Adventure (DCA) is handicapped accessible. The parts of Disneyland that aren’t have special entrance/egress access.
I am glad the ride is w/c accessible, however, I am a little disappointed I can’t use my disability to my advantage anymore to go through the exit:-)…oh well, it’s nice to be considered just like everyone else!
