UPDATE – May 11, 2012: We’re thrilled to announce that the iPhone version of Mobile Magic is now available for users in Canada and the UK. Here’s where to get it:

UK: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/disney-mobile-magic/id500000336?mt=8

If you haven’t checked out our official Disney Parks app yet, now’s the time. You can’t beat this: Verizon Wireless customers can now download Mobile Magic for free. And you’ll want to have some of Mobile Magic’s nifty features at your fingertips for your next visit to the parks.

Disney Parks Mobile Magic App is Now Free

Our app offers accurate wait times as well as official Disney FASTPASS return times and availability for the park you’re in. The same system that powers wait times and Disney FASTPASS in the park, powers this app. Also, there are GPS-enabled park maps to get you to your favorite characters, mobile games and more to explore, including an easy way to make dining reservations directly from your phone.

Just visit the Android Market to download the application for free on your Verizon Wireless phone. And yes, we’re working on a version of Mobile Magic for Verizon iPhone users. That version is currently scheduled to launch this fall.

There are some official details you should know about: message and data rates may apply. Coverage not available everywhere. Availability subject to handset limitations. If you’re under 18, get your parent’s permission first.

  • Please bring this app to all carriers and phones! I will be happy to pay for the use of this app, if I could download it! We are passholders and come to DW all the time. This app would be so much fun to use, instead of the non-disney app! Please….:)

  • So, I’ve got Verizon, but I also have a Blackberry. Any plans to bring the app to those kinds of phones?

  • Hi Thomas – I love that this app is now free (although I would have been willing to pay for it!). I went on the Mobile Magic site (http://disneyparksmobile.com/mobilemagic/) and found that the app is now supported in RIM for Blackberry (I have a Curve 8330 – listed as supported for this app). When I tried to download from the Verizon Media Store it said my phone is not capable of download since RIM is not supported. This is a HUGE disconnect. If it is available for Blackberry users, can you please let me know how to get it? I texted MAGIC to 2777 – got no response. I tried to download through the Blackberry app store – it is not listed. Is it really live for Blackberry as listed on the Disney website?
