Last December I had so much fun taping guests trying on winter hats that I thought I should do it again showcasing some of our summer hats. These caps are a great way to stay in the shade on a hot day at the Disneyland Resort and can all be found at The Mad Hatter shop on Main Street, U.S.A.
Summer Hats at Disneyland Resort: Do You Have a Favorite?
by Shannon Swanson, Public Relations Manager, Disneyland Resort
I do not have a favorite hat yet but Its always been a dream of mine to visit Disney since I was little. I’m 26 now with a 5 month old baby and I hope we can afford to take him soon! It would be so exciting, he loves watching all the older and newer disney movies. I think all the colors and movement just catches his bright blue eyes <3 We love visiting your stores and like I said hopefully one day we will visit your park!!!! Gotta Love Disney!!!
Me too Douglas. I live in the UK and tried everything I could to get a grad 2011 hat because it’s always been my dream too. My American friends tried their hardest to get one for me with no luck at all. My best friend tried to order one online in June and they were already sold out. It’s so disappointing 🙁
AHHH, there’s a 2011 grad nite antenna topper on a popular auction site. I did see those hats quite a bit when they initially came out. I guess Disney does not want to order too many and get stuck with the overstock.
My daughter waited for years to be able to go to Disneyland and buy a 2011 Mickey Mouse ears grad night hat in her high school graduation year, but when we went to Disneyland this July, they were all sold out, with no plans to reorder. She was VERY disappointed, because in previous years there were plenty of hats available in July and even in August. They are likewise unavailable at the Disney Store online. What’s up with that?
That looks like a lot of fun to make. You have a super job!
