Somehow, best friends have a way of always finding each other. One day, Mater, everyone’s favorite tow truck from the Disney•Pixar films “Cars” and “Cars 2,” went on a search at Walt Disney World Resort for his best friend Lightning McQueen.
With a little dose of Disney magic (and some help from RIDEMAKERZ at the Downtown Disney Area), Mater went on a search for his pal. Since Lightning McQueen is now featured in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, he knew exactly where to look.
Our friends at RIDEMAKERZ built a tiny, radio-controlled version of the lovable truck and sent him on his way. Mater’s journey began at the former RIDEMAKERZ location at Downtown Disney West Side. The supercharged experience recently moved to its new home at Downtown Disney Marketplace, inside the Team Mickey Athletic Club store.

I loved that video sooo much! It was fun to see Hollywood Studios from a car point a view.
My 5 year old son had a blast making his Radiator Spring McQueen at RiderMakerz last month on his birthday! The staff was awesome and made him feel super special and he loved building his car. While its not the cheapest thing, it was an awesome experience and would do it over again!
That must have been really fun to film!
