  • @Jennifer; If you could find pictures of Yale Gracey, and Leota Toombs working on the Haunted Mansion that would be crazy awesome.

  • It would be nice to know and credit which artists/Imagineers created these great works of art. By now, we all know that Walt didn’t create everything himself. Today would have been Mary Blair’s 100th birthday and she is now more frequently credited for her work in Imagineering. It’s a good time to celebrate more of the creative people who helped make Disney so memorable and magical. Why not make “social media” also relevent media by teaching more of the history behind the splashy graphics filling the blog? Thanks.

  • Awesome! I love the Disney Parks Blog!

  • Nice!! Love them ALL!!!!

  • What’s the story behind Phantom Manor?

    • That’s the “Haunted Mansion” of Disneyland Paris. Each Haunted Mansion attraction around the world features a strikingly different look. Unlike at Walt Disney World, the attraction is located in Frontierland and has a storyline to match. According to the tale, the manor was built by the wealthy Ravenswood family, who struck it rich in the Gold Rush – but their luck eventually ran out. As the tale goes, a few ghosts from this family may still haunt the premises.

  • Love these, Jenn! Happy to see Phantom Manor along with the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror. I haven’t been to Disneyland Paris yet, but love the story behind Phantom Manor, as well as the original opening narration by Vincent Price.

  • oh wait, I think I figured it out.

  • Ok not sure what I am missing, LOL but all I see is the HM picture. Where/how do I see the others you are all commenting about? thanks!!

  • I LOVE the changing headers! Just makes me want to refresh the page over and over and over.

    • Thanks!

  • Nope I’m changing it! I just saw the footprints to the piano…that is great!

    • I like that one, too!

  • AWESOME!!! Tower of Terror is my all-time favorite attraction! Always love seeing artwork from the attraction!

  • So far my favorite has been the hand drawn Cinderella’s Castle. I made it my wallpaper at work!
