Some Favorite Eats at Aulani

Erin Glover and I had the “tough” job of tasting the new dishes at two of the restaurants at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa`AMA`AMA and Off the Hook, both just steps from the ocean at the beautiful new resort in Hawai`i. And since a picture’s worth a thousand words, here are some fab food shots by Disneyland Resort photographer Paul Hiffmeyer.

Let us know if you go and share your favorite tastes!

Erin and Pam savor the briny New Zealand oysters from Off the Hook’s 'Feast of the Sea' platter. Prawns satay on sugar cane skewers with a peanut sauce from Off the Hook.
From the `AMA`AMA dinner menu, seared ahi tuna and shrimp. And for vegetarians, goat cheese ravioli with local baby vegetables on top. Sashimi fans will love the hamachi (yellowtail) and ahi tuna served on a beautiful block of pink salt at Off the Hook.

  • Erin looks enthusiastic enough but Pam’s look is the best! I see that same expression on my girlfriend’s face every time she finds something good to eat. She has a culinary degree and is a big time foodie. Dangerous combo! Had she been there neither of you would have had a chance. 🙂

  • Ahi tuna and shrimp. It doesn’t get much better than that. If you ever need a substitute or a second opinion on any of your expeditions, I’m free.

Side note: Your video on Sanaa did not disappoint. My husband and I (we took the kids too) are hooked and it will become one of our regular hangouts every time we visit DisneyWorld.

    • So glad you’ve tried Sanaa — family friendly with a wonderful twist on tastes.

    • P.S. And more Taste of Disney videos coming soon!
