With Veterans Day approaching, the Disneyland Resort is honored to celebrate the men and women who serve our country.

Air Force Reserve Recruits Sworn In at Disneyland Resort

Last month, 12 Air Force Reserve recruits from March Air Reserve Base in Moreno Valley, Calif. were sworn in during a ceremony inside Disney California Adventure park. The event took place in Condor Flats, and following their military oath, the next generation of Airmen experienced Soarin’ Over California.

If you’re looking to celebrate Veterans Day on Friday, join us for a special flag retreat ceremony in Town Square at Disneyland park at 4:45 p.m. (weather permitting) to honor veterans, reservists and active duty members of the armed forces around the country, including those who work right here at the Disneyland Resort!

  • I was just thinking that maybe they should have kept ‘Mullhuland Madness’ and made an entirely NEW ‘Goofy’s Sky School’ somewhere on Condor Flats. Granted it may be a bit too comical for the existing mood but it IS aviation related and at least it’s something.

  • Condor Flats always seemed to be an underused area of DCA 1.0–Had a great atmospheric test-pilot/flyboy feel (that history-of-aviation on the Soarin’ queue wall), and nothing really happening in it except for Soarin’ and a counter service.
But still -looks- perfect enough to start new recruits off on the Right Stuff.
