Today, our friends at Hong Kong Disneyland are making history with the official grand opening of Toy Story Land. It’s a new Toy Story-themed area with a bunch of fun main attractions like RC Racer, Slinky Dog Spin and Toy Soldier Parachute Drop. And you can experience the feeling of being shrunk to the size of a toy in Andy’s backyard to play with your favorite Toy Story friends.
Looks great, right? Well, there’s more to come. Toy Story Land is the first of three themed areas planned at Hong Kong Disneyland. The second themed area at Hong Kong Disneyland will be called Grizzly Gulch and it’s scheduled to be completed and opened to the public in 2012. And the Mystic Point themed area is expected to open in 2013.

Great idea for Hollywood Studios if there was the space :/ anyways very exciting, cant wait to see it all done!
The RC ride looks like the Superman Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain near Disneyland Resort. But…the land looks amazing!!! It would be cool to see something like this come to So Cal. =)

Absolutely love the theming, especially the K’nex fencing.
The rides are a bit too Six Flags/Generic for me, but here’s hoping this type of great theming comes to an American Disney park!

I can’t wait to go once they open the other lands. I wonder if John Lasseter or anyone from Pixar was there at the opening to represent. I love that they are doing something different there and not the same stuff as we have. It gives me reason to go there.
