When it comes to sports at Walt Disney World Resort, there’s not an event with more glitz and glam than tonight’s Home Depot College Football Awards at Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney’s Boardwalk.

All of the superstars of college football – Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, Alabama running back Trent Richardson, etc. – are here and have been spotted in and around Disney Parks. Richardson was practically blushing yesterday while meeting Jasmine. Houston quarterback Case Keenum and Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore were all smiles after riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. And this morning LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu was spotted giving a pep talk to guests about to ride the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

If you’re at Walt Disney World Resort tonight, you can virtually rub shoulders with these big-time players outside the Atlantic Dance Hall before the awards show. Some of the players will be there on the ESPNU set with on-air personalities such as Erin Andrews (remember her from “Dancing with the Stars”?) starting around 5 p.m. Or you can snag a spot along the red carpet and see virtually all of them make their way inside for the show where all of the top college football awards (except for the Heisman Trophy) will be presented live on ESPN at 9 p.m.

These awards and the Heisman Trophy are big deals for these players. In fact, I asked Luck about it. Check out this video and hear what he had to say.
