The holiday season is so much fun, especially with all the parties and everyone dressing so merrily. In my family, my wife looks for any opportunity to break out the candy cane-striped socks and our son loves playing Santa Claus, wearing the kid-size costume he got for Christmas last year.

The Disney Characters are no different. When it’s holiday time in the parks, they love to don their most festive apparel. Thanks to the efforts of our Imagineering Character Programs & Development and Creative Costuming teams, they have plenty of fun outfits to help make the season bright. Goofy enjoys taking on the role of Jolly Ol’ St. Nick and even Duffy the Disney Bear has a Christmas look all his own. From Phineas and Ferb in their hats and scarves to Pluto sporting a pair of reindeer antlers, more than 30 different Disney Characters get in the spirit of the season throughout the Disney Parks.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse probably have the largest wardrobes of anyone, so they’re always dressed for the occasion. This year, our designers have added to their selection by creating these new, casual holiday outfits. Mickey’s ensemble features a snappy vest and tie, while Minnie’s custom design echoes her girlish personality. They’re just the sort of fashionable, comfortable clothes one might wear when celebrating the holidays with good friends.
With all this talk of dressing up, I may have to break down and get myself one of those gingerbread Mickey Mouse Ear Hats I saw at the Emporium. Happy holidays, everyone!

I was just asking a Disney Moms Panel mom if Tinker Bell ever showed up at the holidays dressed in her Santa baby red dress. I love my Disney ornaments and have one where she looks fantastic in her red dress. Thanks for sharing these pictures. Disney decks the holidays and their characters out in style! Happy Holidays!
