Happy Dec. 1!
While Christmas is still a few weeks away, the holiday parties – Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties, to be exact – are already underway at Magic Kingdom Park.
One of the highlights of the party for me is always Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, which features Disney characters in holiday attire, scented parade floats, and much more.
After seeing this video again, I still can’t decide which sight I enjoy more – the adorable line of miniature ponies that lead Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach, or the life-size marching toy soldiers.
Remaining parties will take place Dec. 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16 and 18. Day-of-event pricing is $62.95 and $57.95 for ages 3-9. Savings of $6 per ticket are available (on select dates only) if tickets are purchased in advance.

Hi Everybody!!!
I need some tips for my very first time going to the Very Merry Christmas party which I am very excited to go with my husband and my 2 year old daughter!!!
I need to know the best time to go to the rides the ones for the young children, the best place to sit during the parade, any tips will help!
Thanks and have a wonderful holidays 🙂
The 16th for MVMCP is sold out.
will be there on 12/14!! cannot wait to see this in person while drinking hot cocoa and eating some great cookies :>
Me and my kids have attended Disney every year for the past 6 years but we never attended the MVMCP. This will be our first time attending the MVMCP always wanted to see Diseny at Christmas time. Me and my daughter will be there on the 16th along with two of my younger cousins. Can’t wait.
When does the large tree on Main Street go up and when do the swags over the street that were taken down for the parade filming go back up. Soon I hope.
ANN-I have seen MVMCP tickets as early as June- July. Me and my husband notice them this year around that time and went ahead and purchased them. Last year sold out really quick on the Dec 16th and 18th events. So it’s a good idea that you are looking to purchase early because yo never know if the day you want to go will sell out early.
My husband & I took our 2 daughter’s in April for 9 days and it was a 1st for thee 4of us and we all loved it.I would love to pay for a trip during this coming tax season for Nov or Dec 2012 but was wondering how far in advance do they show dates for next year and can that be bought in March/April 2012?
My family was lucky enough to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on November 11 – it was pure magic! The parade, the castle show, the special Christmas fireworks – absolutely spectacular! We had a quick dinner at Cosmic Ray’s, where we danced with “Santas”Goofy and Pluto, then positioned ourselves directly in front of the castle, at the top of Main Street. In between the parade and the castle show, we grabbed a delicious Main Street Bakery dessert to splurge on during the fireworks-which I think was the best display I have ever seen at Disney World! One of those mouth-open in wonder moments, for sure! Following the festivities, we then had plenty of time to visit our favorite attractions-most of the rides are open during the Party and the lines are short! Characters in Christmas attire are everywhere you look – we particularly loved seeing Belle and Beast in holiday attire tucked away in a beautiful alcove to the right of the Castle! Although we vacation at Disneyworld each year, we had never visited during the holidays, and we were completely enthralled and amazed! It was a night we will never forget!

I’m so excited!!! My husband and me will be there for our honeymoon in two weeks. I believe we are going to the party December 12th. Where would you recommend the perfect spot?
This Tuesday!
alison, the 25th anniversary castle was more candy lifesavers, this is more christmas candy cane. i think it is only superimposed, not decorated. gingerbread is also superimposed. at least that is how i see it.
Yes, those images are projected onto the castle for a few seconds.
That’s my sister and my niece with Duffy at the 30 second mark!! 🙂
Very cool!
The 18th has been sold out for several weeks now….
I love the castle with the “ice!” Is it me or at 1:23, does it look like the castle turns into the WDW 25th anniversary castle cake?! =)
Can’t wait! We’ll be at the party soon!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of our family’s most favorite events at Walt Disney World. Thanks for the great video!
I am assuming that the prices for kids under 3 is the same as ticket prices (free).
Also, are there any discounts for annual passholders?
I am SO excited! I’ll be there on December 16 with some friends! We can’t wait!
Have a great time!
It’s all very nice, of course.
But I still want the Country Bear Jamboree Christmas Show back.
