Although Santa Claus has returned to the North Pole for the year, Santa Goofy has taken his place at Downtown Disney and will be meeting and greeting guests from 3-10 p.m., daily, through Jan. 1, 2012.
Look for him at Santa’s Chalet in the Downtown Disney Marketplace area – and don’t forget to bring your cameras!

We went to guest services at Downtown Disney to ask about meeting Santa Goofy on the 30th, and were told the previous day had been the last day.
Pity, because the parks were so busy that we made plans to include this meet and great on our shopping day.
Glad I had not mentioned the “surprise” to the kids in advance.
You should think about changing the date mentioned here. We went last night hoping to see him and were informed his last night was the 12/29/11. It was a disappointment.
We love meeting up with Santa Goofy! What a great way to celebrate…wish we were there!
