‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort

by , Editorial Content Director, Disney Experiences

To celebrate the holidays, Mickey Mouse has recruited some familiar faces from around Walt Disney World parks and resorts to help him recite the poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (or as it’s often called, “’Twas the Night Before Christmas”). I’d tell you who is in the video, but that’d ruin the fun, right? Just know that you’ll see characters, crew and cast from all four theme parks, the resorts, Blizzard Beach, ESPN Wide World of Sports and some areas guests usually don’t visit. Merry Christmas.

  • How wonderful, and especially seeing my sister Debbie in the video… this was her line : His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

  • Wonderful treat for those of us who love WDW. Going all over the resort & including cast members was a great idea. Thanks to Thomas Smith & all who participated!

  • This was REALLY cute and creative; I loved how each cast member was in some way connected to the passage they were reading. I can’t be in WDW for Christmas, but this video got me as close as possible. Kudos to whomever developed this!

  • Merry Christmas! This made me want to go to Walt Disney World … and I’m already there!!!

  • A Huge “THANK YOU” to Thomas Smith & WDW for this wonderful idea. As a result of it I was allowed to see my son (Brandon-speaker for the ‘Tower Of Terror” clip) in action. The family hasn’t been able to visit with him in 9 months (ILLINOIS-FLORIDA). Now all of his family and friends back home here can see an updated version of this special man. This video has helped to ease the ache of missing him durring the holidays (as much as possible). Again, Thank You and God Bless.
