Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders: from March 27–29, take advantage of a special sneak peek of the amazing merchandise, food, entertainment, new costumes and guided tours the Disneyland Resort will bring to life this summer.
As part of this preview in Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure park, I’m excited to share that some of the merchandise being created for the park and the opening of Cars Land will be available to purchase, including items from collections such as the Disney California Adventure park logo program, Attraction Posters, Low & Slow Car Club, Champions Custom Speed Shop and Radiator Springs Racers, to name a few, before they hit store shelves at locations such as Ramone’s House of Body Art, Sarge’s Surplus Hut and more.
Check out these new merchandise logos!

it will be amazing to see some of the new stuff 😀 is there still no word on a preview date?
*adds to PDA* See Ya there!
Yay we will be there that day…so this preview is only for annual passholders correct?
Nicole, the merchandise opportunity is supposed to be just for Annual Passholders. It’s definitely a great way to get a look at some of these new items coming out and even pick them up before they are released to Guests this summer.
Count me in!
This is definitely exciting news!
Hello Michelle,
We appreciate the heads up for the AP preview. Say, is that a new picture. Is that the CASTLE in the background? Will you be around during the “event”?
Hey there! It is a new picture, but it’s not the Castle, it’s actually the Matterhorn. I hope to be around at the merchandise preview event, so please be sure to stop by and say hello.
Sorry Natalie, I don’t have any details on opening dates for Cars Land or the attractions, nor any special preview opportunities. But I hope you can stop by in March to check out some of the great new merchandise offers.
is there any new details on the opening date for Cars Land? would love to start planning that!?
or even information regarding the annual pass holders preview of the ride?
Notice they were talking about the new food too. Will they be selling some of it, or just letting us know what to expect?
Most likely they’ll just be letting you know what to expect. But be ready to experience something new, just in case.
Thank you for the news of the preview Michelle!! I am excited to go!!! And thank you for making us, the passholders, feel special once again!!
Thanks for the reply Michelle! 🙂
I’m still a newbie Passholder to Disneyland and CA Adventure so I don’t know where everything is yet. Where is Stage 17? I checked the map and don’t see it listed anywhere.
Thanks.
Stage 17 is actually located in Hollywood Pictures Backlot, between the Muppets and Monsters, Inc. attractions. Hope to see you there!
LOOKING in to getting a day off to drive down; my kids will be so happy
Michelle–
I have heard a rumor that Sarge’s Surplus Hut will be a RIDEMAKERZ location. Is there any truth to this?
Hey Fred! Hope you’re doing well. In the coming week’s we will be revealing lots of fun details on what products the Cars Land stores will be carrying, including Sarge’s Surplus Hut. I can tell you it is a fabulous mix of merchandise, but unfortunately does not contain any RIDEMAKERZ product.
Will they have this type of event at WDW?
Luis, not at this time, as the event is centered around the new merchandise and other offerings that will be available this summer at the Disneyland Resort.
Why can’t the preview run through the whole week and include the weekend?
Toni, the dates were chosen based on time and availability.
That’s when I’ll be there on vacation!! Sadly though, I am a WDW passholder, not DLR 🙁
Banks, perhaps during your stay that week you can swing by the venue and see what’s happening. Can’t make any promises, but it won’t hurt to try.
Those are awesome I want both of these! 🙂
yay!! excited too!!!
Super exciting…I’ll be there!!
Glad to hear it! It will be a blast and you’ll love seeing all of the new stuff coming our way this summer.
