Attention fans of Adventures by Disney! An all-new 2013 destination was just announced earlier today – it’s a tour through Southeast Asia, with stops in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

This 12-day, 11-night tour will give adventurers the chance to experience exotic culture in cities like Saigon, Hanoi, Hoi An, Luang Prabang, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. In Cambodia, adults will have time to take in the unique architecture of the Temples of Angkor Wat while Junior Adventurers live the history of the ancient structure on a tuk tuk vehicle treasure hunt. In Vietnam, guests can expect to enjoy market shopping followed by an authentic Vietnamese cooking lesson.

Take a sneak peek at the other fun adventures guests can expect in this new tour in this video:

Additional details and dates for the new Southeast Asia itinerary and other 2013 offerings will be available on the Adventures by Disney website in late spring. In the meantime, guests are encouraged to contact the reservations center at 1-877-728-7282 with any questions.

  • I make 1 or 2 treks to Southeast Asia every year and I can only say this this is the greatest vacation experience you can ever do. Vietnam is the only country I have not yet visited, but is on my list for 2013. I encourage everyone to look into doing a cruise of Ha Long Bay on a Chinese Faux. Don’t miss Ankhor Wat in Siem Reap Cambodia, and a boat tour of the Tonie Sap Lake just south of the city – you will be amazed that over 1 million people live on (not by) the lake. The culture, the way of life and hospitality of the countries is a world apart from what we are used to. Don’t forget Thailand on your list of “Must Do’s”, it is an amazing country and the Phi Phi Islands in Pha Nga Bay are almost as beautiful as Hawaii. I hope everyone takes a serious look at this adventure. I promise you, a vacation of a lifetime.

  • This adventure looks amazing!! I definitely plan on doing an Adventure by Disney to one of the countries where I don’t speak the language. I DREAM of doing the African safari, or the Egypt adventure….. Now you’ve just added another to my wish list!!
