What do Disneyland Resort cast members have in common with mini musicals? “Flashback,” of course – the annual, after-hours event in the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure park, in which cast members from across the Resort have the unique opportunity to take the stage and perform original Broadway-style acts for charity.

This year, ticket sales for cast members’ friends and family benefited Orangewood Children’s Foundation and Anaheim Interfaith Shelter/Halcyon. Each nonprofit received a $10,000 check at last week’s event.

Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort Participating in ‘Flashback’ to Raise Funds for Local Charities

More than 300 cast members took advantage of the fun cast offering, and this year’s theme – games and comic books – lent itself to costumes inspired by playing cards and super heroes. Congratulations to all who participated after nearly two months of practice and production!

  • The Cast Members at Disneyland always impress me as such polite, clean-cut young people. It doesn’t surprise me that these Disneylanders spend their free time putting on charity shows for their local community here in SoCal.

Bravo Disneyland Resort CM’s! Walt would be so proud of you!

  • Is it only performing cast members or, for example, food service cast members, too?

  • Awesome JOB to all the CMs who were a part of this yrs Flashback!! From the planning on what the stories would be and the the amazing dancing. This was my 6th time seeing Flashback. I am already looking forward to the next yrs show. Its one of the highlights of my yr. To get to see the CMs I know giving of all the time that goes into putting on this show. And its not just CMs from entertainment, but from the whole resort. Thanks!! So glad that two great charities got a lot of money from this show.

  • Our Third year going. Always impressive, this year more then ever. The performers are from all areas, not just the performing cast members… Our friend who got us hooked on Flashback two years ago works in the Ticket booths between the parks. My wife and I are continually impressed by and proud of all the cast members. We hope to attend all of the future Flashbacks. Wish there was a DVD but that’d be a whole ‘nother can of worms.
