Whether you’re visiting the Disneyland Resort for the first time or think you know all there is to know about the Happiest Place on Earth, there’s something for you in the Welcome to the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour.

Loaded with trivia and history, tips and tricks for navigating the parks, and dining tips and suggestions, the Welcome to the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour will show you how to make the most of your Disney day. This 2 ½-hour tour even provides special surprises and perks, like attraction experiences, a personalized itinerary with dining reservations, priority viewing for a popular show and selected Disney’s FASTPASS tickets for use that day.

And did I mention how much there is to learn about the Disneyland Resort? I recently took the tour myself and learned lots of things I didn’t know. I met two first-time Disneyland Resort guests on my tour, Krista Parker from Toronto and Val Hodowanksi from Oshawa, Canada, who told me the tour was the perfect way to discover the Resort.

“The tour was a good introduction to the Resort,” said Krista. And Val agreed: “You get to go around the whole Resort, so you really get your bearings.”

Here are some things you should know about the Welcome to the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour:

  • Sounds like fun!

  • Erin-Would this be a good tour for a seasoned Disneyland guest? It does sound fun. You stated that you recently took the tour and learned a few things. I have done the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour and loved it (it was several years ago). Have also done the Segway tour at California Adventure and loved it too.

  • This was a great tour for a first-timer or a seasoned Disney guest. It takes you through BOTH parks and explains how things run in a very straight forward manner. I’ve been on almost every tour in Disneyworld and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of information I learned on this one. The fast passes we received at the end of the tour, the preferred seating for the Aladin show and the restaurant reservation service were all great perks as well. I wish Disneyworld did a tour that offered these perks!

I recommend this tour without reserve!

  • It says that you recieve a pin and lanyard for taking this tour but I cannot find that info on the disneyland website. Can you verify that the welcome to disneyland tour does in fact get you a pin and lanyard?

  • Absolutely … you keep the lanyard (with a special tour thing on it) and a special tour pin as well … it’s really a great deal!!!
