Did you know Disneyland Resort guests now have a new way to request dining reservations? You can now email dining reservation requests to dine@disneyland.com (click here to get all the details). Here are some other things you might not know about eating at the Disneyland Resort:
- Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland park sells enough hot dogs in one year to circle the park 36 times.
- Guests consume 14,000 bowls of the signature Charred Nebraska Corn Chowder every year at Storyteller’s Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
- If you stack every kernel of popcorn popped in Disney California Adventure park in two days, it would reach 200 feet high – as tall as the tallest fountain in “World of Color.”
- Disney California Adventure park spins enough cotton candy in one year to blanket the entire Paradise Pier Lagoon.
- The Disneyland Resort Central Bakery bakes nearly 250 wedding cakes a year.

Is it bad that, literally, my first thought upon reading that was “they need to make it a POPCORN FOUNTAIN”? 😛
The beignets are outstanding. We were just there this past weekend and shared six of them. Delicious and highly recommended!
They have beignets at WDW in the food court at Port Orleans resort, but I don’t think they are mickey shaped.
How about posting the recipe for the beignets!?? I’ve got a mickey shaped cookie cutter that should work just fine for those!
Jennifer – I don’t have the recipe for the regular beignets, but Pam Brandon has shared the recipes for pumpkin beignets here and gingerbread beignets here.
Not only are the hot dogs at Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. amazingly tasty, the dogs themselves are gluten-free and they are available on gluten-free buns. Best.Lunch.Ever.
They do look soooooo good.
The Mickey Shaped beignets are at Cafe Orleans. There is a smaller window on the backside of the restaurant you may get them faster. And yes they are as good as they look. Just make sure to eat them hot and shake the bag often.
Where can I find the Mickey shaped beignets?
Can you PLEASE bring beignets somewhere in WDW. Pretty please?! 🙂
Hey, those mickey beinet looking things look yummy. Where can a starving person get some of those? please?
Mickey-shaped beignets can be found at Cafe Orleans or the Mint Julep Bar (next to the French Market Restaurant) in New Orleans Square at Disneyland park.
