It’s Mother’s Day, so we’re featuring one of the newest moms at Disney Parks, Kendi and her new baby white rhino calf – a boy. Adorable, right? Blog author Matt told us that a rhino birth is a significant event because at one time the species was nearly extinct.
Our new calf currently is bonding with mom in their backstage home and will join the other rhinos on the savanna of the Kilimanjaro Safaris in the coming weeks. Check our original post for more images.
And the minute we saw this, we knew Disney Parks Blog readers would love it. Coming this year to Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will have the opportunity to relive a most memorable scene from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back with the Carbon-Freeze Me experience. Using state-of-the-art imaging technology, this new experience will cast your likeness as a three-dimensional, eight-inch figurine. If you missed it, go now and check Steven’s post for details.
