Will Fast Pass be in effect for Radiator Springs Racers during these events, or will the only option be to wait in line?
Erin: I read some where that there will be gifts given to attendees? Aside from the statuette for people that purchase tickets with dinner, that is. Can you confirm?
NY Paul: AP holders get a free ticket because they already have free admission. D23 members need to buy a regular day ticket on top of the special preview tickets.
Jessica: I think they are just trying to cover all the bases. They will probably issue you a ticket for entry but don’t need to pay for it, while D23 members still have to pay for a day ticket. So AP holders pay $50 for the preview while D23 members will pay the $50 + $87 park admission.
Hey Jessica, I’m guessing some annual passes will be blocked when the preview takes place. With a ticket, even people who are blocked can go for the day
Why do we need a ticket if we have our annual pass? This is very confusing!!
my second question is, is there a limit on how many preview tickets are being sold for each time slot? like 3,000 or 4,000? could you let us know? thanks
Hi Erin, I live 350 miles away from Disneyland and have bought my annual passport online, but have not driven down and activated the card. I wanted to buy 2 tickets for my husband and myself for the Cars preview, but because I havent driven the 350 miles to activate my card, I dont have my bar code number. I have called and was told sorry, there is nothing that can be done, but isnt there a way to get 2 tickets and pick them up when we come down and activate our annual passes? Im really disappointed that its this way…Im sure there is a way to verify our information. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you Pam
As stated above for the $75 ticket you get the time slot of 8am-12noon or 1pm-5pm.
i bought my $75 ticket two weeks ago when this was first announced
the ticket reads 6pm-11pm with World of Color.
this time slot is still being honored correct?
Yes – I stated incorrect times in the post. I apologize – the preview is scheduled for 6-11 pm. Have fun!
Just bought my tickets!!
This sounds like and exciting opportunity! To be a part of the opening of the Cars Land!! Have dinner with a member of the Disney Family and or John Lasseter!!! This appears to be a magical experience!!!!
Can I get in even though my pass is blocked out that day.
What time are the dinners? Would that cut into my Cars Land time? If so how long is the dinner expected to last?
The dinner will be approximately 90 minutes, and will not cut into your time to enjoy Cars Land – plus dinner guests will receive expedited entry on Radiator Springs Racers.
I thought that with the $75 ticket that it was between 6-11 pm with world of color afterwards, not the two times before.
You are correct, Garrett – good catch. This has been corrected in the post.
…. Why are AP holders given a 1-day ticket and D23 members not? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? AP holders don’t *need* the ticket – they have APs!
Are D23 members permitted to bring a guest to the Cars Land and Buena Vista Street Event? Or is everyone that attends required to have a D23 membership?
D23 Members can bring a guest, and that guest does not need to be a D23 Member.
