The model for the New Fantasyland expansion, which was last on display for media during the Summer to Remember press event and for Disney fans at the 2011 D23 Expo, is currently being placed into the One Man’s Dream exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Guests can view this model in all its detail beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16, at One Man’s Dream, an exhibit that highlights some of Walt Disney’s biggest dreams come to life. Could there be a better place for the model to be on display?

Here are the first photos of the model in its new location.

  • I know this is off-topic, Jennifer, but when are you going to post new news regarding Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom?

You said there’d be new things to report on it “in a few weeks”, but it’s already been a few weeks and many of us want to know.

  • very cool saw it at the Expo would love to see it again in October

  • No Mr. Toad? or Toad Hall? The wait continues.

  • This looks amazing! I can’t wait to see the all new Fantasyland when it’s completed! Thanks for sharing these great photos.

  • what is the proposed time table for the opening of the new area exhibits at disneyworld magic kingdom?

  • Peter, a model of Progress City (well, a portion of it) is visible in the PeopleMover, if I recall….

  • I just have to say “thank you”. I love One Man’s Dream and I am so glad it continues to receive new items for display. I am very much looking forward to the revamped Fantasyland, I am sure I am not the only one. I will definitely pay a visit to DHS soon.

    • Very cool!

  • I won’t be there until the last week of January 2013. I hope I can see it then.

  • Awwwwww!
I was there on the 11th!
    My timing stinks. 😛

  • Looks great

  • This looks wonderful! Every time I see what goes into these models, I cannot help but wonder, why is there not a replica of Progress City somewhere on property, or even as a part of “One Man’s Dream”….or better yet, in the COP?

As beautiful as the future and progress are, even Walt didn’t want us to forget it all started with a Mouse….and in the case of amazing models, it all started with a vision of Progress City…..

  • Can’t wait for that Little Mermaid ride!

  • This looks great can’t wait to see it.

  • How long will it be on display? I will be there in 17 days and hope to see this!

    • I’m not sure, but I’d bet you’re pretty safe, Steven.
