A few weeks back, we told you about the all-new Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree happening in Frontierland at Disneyland park. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, here’s a look at some of the festivities.
Right now, Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but starting June 18, you’ll be able to say “Howdy!” to your favorite characters here seven days a week all summer long. Adding to the fun, that famous fiddlin’ foursome Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will be performing at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree this summer, too, so y’all come on down!

You guessed it! Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree occupies the site of the former Festival of Fools show, based on Disney’s “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree is open now (on weekends, expanding to 7 days a week on June 18). In addition to the Cowboy Roundup hoedown-style show, you can also meet Disney characters there, trade pins and do some fun western crafts. You should check it out!
Would this show be open in late august?
Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree is currently scheduled through August 19. Hopefully that fits into your plans.
Any plans for 2013? We’ll be there in June next year and I’m really hopping they’ll be doing it again next summer. It look like lots of fun! And I love how the characters are in their western gear!
