With all of the Fourth of July fireworks celebrations yesterday, I was reminded of the pyrotechnic spectacular that greeted the Disney Magic on her first arrival to Barcelona in 2007.

Like many Disney Cruise Line guests, I am thrilled that the ship is returning to Barcelona next summer for her fourth season in the Mediterranean. Not only is Barcelona a gateway to the amazing European destinations guests will visit on a four-, seven- or 12-night Disney cruise, a Barcelona Port Adventure before or after is a “must-do” to experience the city’s old-world charm and rich culture.

I’m eagerly looking forward to taking this cruise in late-August of next year! I’ve already booked it on my Disney Vacation Club points and I can’t get enough of the trip planning.
Looking forward to going back to Barcelona for a third Disney Mediterranean Cruise!! Cannot Wait 🙂
We took the EBTA in 2011. Amazing experience. No grand fireworks when we arrived in Barcelona but still my favorite vacation ever.
We were on that Inaugural TransAtlantic on the Magic and were completely blown away by the fireworks show that greeted us in Barcelona in 2007. It’s one of my favorite Disney memories of all. Barcelona certainly knew Disney was in town after that show. Wow!!
