Disney’s ‘it’s a small world’ Storybook App Updated With More Languages

In December, I told you about a new storybook app available for iPad, iPhone or iPod touch based on the iconic Disney Parks attraction, “it’s a small world.” If you haven’t checked out this adorable, interactive storybook yet, I definitely recommend it. My 3-year-old niece will not put it down – she loves seeing what the children in each scene will do when she touches the screen, and her favorite part is the “it’s a small world” sing-along.

And with a new update to the app, the sing-along is even more fun and educational – with six new languages. Now you (and your little readers) can sing along with the classic tune in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Swedish and Spanish!

  • How about an answer as to the requests for an Android version, Samsung etc make a lot of devices that Disney fans use?
My wife changed from an ipad to the Samsung and I have a 3 yr old Grt Grandson that would love to see it, we will be bringing him to Disneyland soon, just as we did with his Mother and her twin sister many times since they were 3. I know he would like to see it as he now knows that all planes go to Disneyland.

    • I don’t have any information on the availablility of an Android version, but I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update.

  • PLEASE make an Android version too!!!!!

  • My 2 year old son and I LOVE this app. It has saved us from a few meltdowns when we’re out in public. As soon as it starts up, all is good again. And when we rode the real “it’s small world” at Magic Kingdom – it was pure Disney magic!

  • Let’s not forget Android users too! There’s a lot of Disney fans out there who don’t own iPhones or iPads.

  • It’s available in Swedish as well? 😮 Fantastic! 😀 Even though I prefere the English version.

Thank you so much for taking an in interest in your international fans! 🙂

  • I have the app on my Nook Color, my 4 year old daughter loves it and keeps asking when we can go back to ride it again. (31 days sweetie!)

  • Will there ever be any plans to make any of your apps available for Android?!?

  • When will the app be coming to the Kindle?
