  • I got to perform twice at the Carnation Stage in my high school choir, and they were high points of being in the music program in school for me. That was 31 and 33 years ago, since I just attended my 30th HS reunion! Now, every time I see a group of young performers, I stop and attend the whole performance. It’s special to be part of their magic by applauding from the audience. Thank you for having this program available for so many years!

  • I was lucky enough to perform and march down Main Street, USA with my high school tall flags team for all my 4 years. My last performance was only 8 years ago. We marched before the parade started and my high school band was well over 300 strong! That was my favorite part of the year! The memory I hold dearest to my heart was my senior year performance, not only because it was my last year, but because I held a letter in my school’s banner. We were in front of everyone and when those doors opened and I saw the crowd of people cheering for us, I remember feeling overwhelmed with emotion. Thank you Disney Performing Arts for allowing schools and other groups to perform in such a great place 🙂
