We say, “Thank You Disney!” for the Military Salute. It gives us the opportunity to have a great family vacation that we can afford!
Thank you, Disney, for once AGAIN renewing this AWESOME offer!!!!! We plan to take full advantage of this discount when my husband returns from Deployment.
Question on the Disneyland military tickets. At Disney World, all the days don’t have to be used together. Does the normal Disneyland 13-day time limit apply to the military park hoppers? Or is it like the Disney World park hopper tickets, where I can use 2 days in October, 1 day in January, and 1 day in May…. That doesn’t seem to be spelled out anywhere-
@Paul – Thank you, I think that will be my best bet. 🙂
Almost forgot…any consideration to making the Disneyland passes 4 day passes for the same price as WDW…with the addition of Cars Land to DCA it could take 4 days to get all the stuff in with small children.
I love the discount but wonderd why the difference in blackout dates between Disneyworld and Disneyland??? Specifically why was March 24 blacked out at WDW? Selfish reason for asking…it’s the last day of our vacation…I’ll have to buy single day passes for $92 each for 5 people…ouch. 🙁
THANK YOU soooooo much for extending the military discount offer!!!! Because of the discount my family and I were able to go on our first Disney trip in July! We had so much fun!!! We also got the discounted rate at the Art of Animation resort and I am sooo glad we did! That is such an awesome resort and my whole family LOVED it! My husband will be deploying this fall/ winter and we would love to go back to Disney when he returns home. Now with the extended discount offer this is possible! Thank you sooo much!!!
Thanks Disney for keeping discount tickets for military members!
Thank YOU!!!!! I cannot tell you how many military families I know who were hoping and waiting for this to be continued (including my own!) Thank you so much Disney for doing this for us. It means the world to my boys, my husband and myself. THANK YOU!!!
Thank yall so much for the discount to the military, we would never get to go if the discounts were not given.. NOW hopefully it will be extended to December of 2013 when we are going…
THANK YOU DISNEY!!!
Disney is great. It is amazing that Disney has once again extended this offer. I think it is wonderful that they support those that have and are currently serving our great country.
Thank you for extending this! Walt would be proud of the way his company takes care of our military from the discounts to the Retreat Ceremony at The Magic Kingdom. Because of these discounts, I was able to book 2 trips today and I am able to share the Disney magic with my kids!
Thank you! You’ve made it possible for us to gather our children for a dream vacation. My grown children will gather with us for a special time together that we will always cherish.
@Aundrea…I do not work for Disney but I would suggest you call either your local MWR or Disney directly…. I am going to bet that since you will be there for the first promotion ($138), those will be the tickets you buy. Once the tickets are activated, it should not matter how much you paid for them because they are active. Again, this is all an assumption and better to get it straight from the Mouse’s mouth. 🙂
Thank you, Disney Parks for giving our military the support they need! I have taken advantage of this and will be doing so again at Disneyland in September and I am so grateful for it.
Thank you so so much for renewing this. You have no idea how amazing it is to us!
Aundrea ~~ Did you get your question answered? I don’t see the $138 priced ticket, but in the past Disney has always listed the last day you must enter the park to START taking advantage of your pass… so, if there is a 4 pass that is $138 that is good until Sept 25th, it means the first day of the 4 must be by Sept 25th. Then you can use the 2nd day on the 26th, the 3rd in the 27th, etc. Expiration dates have always meant the day you must start the use of the ticket.
Hope that helps
Hi, I just tried to make reservations for the rooms (also extended into 2013 with today’s announcement). The Disney rep told me that Reservists are not eligible. Does anyone else have any experience using these promotions as a drilling (not activated) Reservist?
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your continued and loyal support to our military members and veterans!! Disney Rocks!!
Thank you Disney for extending this offer again. When I was on active duty, my family enjoyed the time we spent together at Disney, taking advantage of your generosity. Now that I am retired and my children have children that are old enough to enjoy Disney, we will again spend time together as a family with Disney. Thank you for remembering the Retirees in your generous offer.
ty soooo much for renewing this amazing discount ~ my daughter is soooo happy because now we can spend her birthday there in January. This is an amazing chance for families all over to see the real magic of Walt Disney World ~ thanks again ~
Thank you so much for supporting our military with your fantastic discount! As a military family, we appreciate the opportunity to visit the Disney parks…an opportunity we might not be able to enjoy if the discounts weren’t available. We can’t wait until our visit to Disney World in November! Your generosity is truly appreciated!!
Thank you so much Disney. Disney World December 2012 will be our first big family vacation. This is going to be magical. Thank you so much for supporting our dreams!
THANK YOU!!!!! My husband is deployed and will not be back until Nov. We were hoping to go during his leave after he returns but we were scared we weren’t going to be able to afford it when there were rumors the deals were ending. Thank you so much for everything you do for our military families.
Thank you Disney for extended this promotion for another year. My family has used this since the promotion started several years ago, and we really appreciate everything you do for our service members!
Aundrea, the current promotion ends on September 30, so you could get the current $138/4 day hopper tickets and use them until 9/30. Then you could get the new tickets, $156/4 day hopper, for 10/1 and 10/2. If you plan on going back before the next promotion expires on 9/28/13, then you will still have a couple of days left on your tickets.
Thank you so much for extending this generous offer for and your continued support for the military. We are so grateful. See you soon!!!
thank you disney for your continued support in our military. We are a military family and love our Disney. We are extremely appreciative and grateful for all you do for us. We do not expect this we just thank you for it. It puts a smile on our troops faces for every little thing that is done to show appreciation towards them. Thank you again.
Thanks Disney for renewing this offer. Our family is super excited to be going to Disney again!!!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for this!!! My husband is currently deployed and not due back until sometime in October or November. We were hoping that you would extend your amazing Military discounts so that we could take a family vacation as a way to celebrate his homecoming! Thank you, again!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU from the bottom our all of the military families hearts out there!!!!! We are all so excited to see that Disney has again offered us an AMAZING discount!
I will be calling this evening and making a lot of reservations, including January, The Princess Half Marathon in February and maybe even December for the grand opening of Fantasyland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you Mickey,
Kari, Brandon, Asa and Micah
Quick question, sorry if i’m just reading it wrong, but to clarify the current offer is a 4 day hopper pass for $138/ticket. This offer is suppose to run through Sept. 30th. Based on the above blog it states Aug 17th – Sept 25th, 2013 you can buy a ticket at the new price of $156/ticket but then mentions “…tickets may be used October 1, 2012 through September 28, 2013”. So are you saying we can buy the more expensive tickets through our MWR for travel after Oct 1st, 2012 but for trips before Oct 1st, 2012 we can still take advantage of the $138 cost?
Again sorry for the long confusing question but we are a military family & will be going to Disney World Sept 25th – Oct 2nd, so we fall right in the middle of the transition and I just want to make sure we are buying the right tickets. Thanks!
can you purchase these tickets at the gate or only on a military base?
