Pixar fans will love the opportunity to meet John Lasseter – yes, he’s an animation genius, but he also makes delicious California wines (with beautiful labels, too). You can meet John and his wife Nancy for lunch at 12:30 p.m. October 19 at Citricos, where Chef Philip Ponticelli will pair Lasseter wines with seasonal cuisine. Cost is $130.
Cat Cora fans will be happy to hear that two wine dinners have been added to the line-up for this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, with Chef Cat on hand to greet diners at 8 p.m. October 2 and October 4. Cost is $170 for a five-course dinner with wine pairings in the restaurant’s cozy CoraNation Room.
And three very famous dads are teaming up for what promises to be one of the coolest Food & Wine Fest dinners this year – Michael Voltaggio has been added to the line-up, joining his brother Bryan and Andrew Zimmern on stage for the family-friendly Magic of Healthy Living Dinner at 6:30 p.m. October 19 at Epcot World Showplace. Brothers Bryan and Michael shot to the front of the celebrity chef pack in 2009 on Bravo’s “Top Chef,” and Andrew is best known for his show “Bizarre Foods” on the Travel Channel, so diners are guaranteed entertainment with their memorable four-course dinner. Cost is $110 and includes tip and non-alcoholic beverages. (Park admission required).

Take a look at more of what to expect at this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival:
Pam, it was a real pleasure meeting you at last year’s Food & Wine Festival, and I really enjoyed getting all your books signed by you (well, except the one I already owned).
Although they still haven’t made any announcement, do you have any idea when Disney will announce IF the Food and Wine Festival is returning to California Adventure for 2013? I think the writing is on the wall that it won’t, but I’m not giving up hope.
Also, for those of us who can’t make it out to Florida this year, will we be able to order the festival cookbook?
Lastly, any luck obtaining the Cafe Orleans’ mint julip recipe? I’ve found several online but none are exactly the same, and I want to make sure I am making the “real” one.
Just signed up my son and I to attend! Do you know how many will be a part of the lunch?
On our recent trip to Disney we ate at Cat Cora Resturant at the Boardwalk—Kouzzina —DELICIOUS!!!
Signed up for John and Nancy’s lunch. Too excited for words!
Is there an age limit? My son LOVES John Lassister, he watches him on Youtubes all the time. He would die if he ever met John. He says to me all the time, do you think he will be in Disney when I am there? I tell him no, chances are we will never see him there, but maybe this visit.I hate to tell him because he would be looking for him instead of enjoying the time there. He has Aspergers and once he gets his mind set on something, that is it, he can’t think of anything else.
There is no age limit on the lunch. (But there is not a separate price for children.)
Any news on the menu for the John Lasseter lunch? I am very tempted!
any updates on disney california food and wine? I miss that event soo much!
We miss it too — no updates yet!
Does the weekly festival guide get published online anywhere, or is it a guide you can only get while you are in Epcot at the Festival? Just curious if I can plan out some stuff before I get there. Thanks!
Once the guide is printed (mid-September) it will be on the festival website http://www.epcotfoodfestival.com.
I called WDW Dining Reservations, and they could not find the John & Nancy Lasseter lunch. Can you give us the title of the event or do you know when reservations will be available?
Just ask for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival Citrico’s luncheon on Friday October 19th at 1230pm.
Call reservations at 407 939 FEST
