Last week, we offered a look inside The West Wing dining room at Be Our Guest Restaurant, which is coming soon to New Fantasyland. This week, let’s head the other direction and take a glimpse into another dining room – The Rose Gallery.
According to our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering, this dining room (one of three total) is a formal gallery that that is complete with artwork that celebrates Belle, Beast and their extended enchanted family, including Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip and Maurice.
The centerpiece of the room is a lovely seven-foot-tall music box (including the base) of Belle and Beast that swirls about and plays actual music box music. According to our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering, the storyline behind this magical music box is that it was carved by Maurice, Belle’s father, to celebrate the couple’s love. Guests who visit Maurice’s Cottage for the Enchanted Tales With Belle attraction can even see the maquette and drawings he used to build this music box.
When visiting The Rose Gallery dining room, be sure to check out the amazing rose chandelier, which sits just above the music box, and be on the lookout for tiny rose details, like the roses carved into the room’s banquette.

I can’t wait…next August! Calling on the 180th day so I don’t miss out.
We were there in Sept and the girls couldn’t believe they were just missing out on the new castles. What they don’t know is we are going on a cruise in January that gives us one day at Disney! They will get to see the New Fantasyland and The new Test Track. Can’t wait!
Oh, I hope I can get picked for the blog meet up on Nov 17! That is the last night of our stay with my husband, my Dad and his friend and our 6 year old son! 3 generations. We would so love to eat at Be Our Guest Restaurant! I have been checking daily for the sign up!
Coming in January and we are hoping for some cancellations so we can do dinner there!

I have been chosen to come but I was having problems putting the information for my friend to come she is a Belle freak but it timed out or something so her information didn’t go through so I probably won’t be coming because I don’t want to hurt her feelings. I tried to get back in to add her and she tried but they said there were not anymore openings.
This is a great start! I wonder if they will eventually incorporate all of the popular princesses. i.e. Alladin, Sleeping Beauty and Princess Tiana within the Fantasy Land. I’m super excited to take my daughter next year.
Jennifer, will all three rooms at Be Our Guest be open for lunch, or are some of the rooms only for the sit down dining at night? We are planning a visit in January and every night is booked but we are coming for lunch at least!

Yes, but please keep in mind that Dec. 17 is a block-out date for cast member Main Entrance Passes. If you get in, you’ll need to use your comp tickets for park entry.
i tried to make a reservation more than one month ago and it was totally full for the end of december to the beginning of january. i am so sad with this :/ i think there is no way. i get the roayal table, but be my gest. impossible :/
Reservations are NOT taken for lunch. That is first-come, first-served. You could try that!
I’m going to have dinner at Be Our Guest on my birthday on may 3rd next year and I think my boyfriend is planning to propose there… Can you imagine?

I am so excited about getting to see this along with all the other new things that have been added to the Magic Kingdom. We have dinner reservations on Jan 4th. From all the pics and videos I have seen so far looks amazing!! Looking forward to being there!!

Oh wow is that is stunning! Beauty and the Beast was my sister’s favorite movie and to be able to see that next time my fiance and I go to Disney will be wonderful! I plan for our wedding to have many aspects of Beauty and the Beast in it in memory of my sister.

When will the 12/6 FLE opening ceremonies be announced? We will be at MK that day and want to experience it all!

Is there a time of day set for Nov. 17? I’ll be in Orlando then, but might be doing other stuff that day… I’m going to attempt to go to the opening of the restaurant on the 19… 🙂
I can’t wait for this to open! 🙂 I’m going to WDW for the Grand Opening of New Fantasyland; I’m SO excited! I have a reservation for Be Our Guest for our next trip after that. It’s going to be amazing!

When does the new Fantasy land open? I can not seem to find it anywhere. Thanks. I have not been since March of this year. I have a 3 year old daughter who is celebrating her 4th birthday there the week after Thanksgiving. Anything new that will be open that week?
New Fantasyland will have it’s grand opening on Dec. 6.
What is the special blog viewing on November 17th?
We recently announced during our live chat w/Imagineer Chris Beatty that we’ll be holding a Disney Parks Blog meet-up at Be Our Guest Restaurant on Nov. 17. Sign-ups will be very limited, and the opportunity to sign-up will begin in early Nov.
Just got back; still a lot of construction left to do, but it is shaping up fast. Looked like they were really working fast to get this done. Good luck to those wanting to get on the blog contest. I’m sure it will be great. Went to see the Harry Potter thing at Universal and it was good, but this looks even better; then again it is Disney. I’ll come back in a few years.

I can hardly wait but we were lucky enough to get D23 preview tickets for the first week of November. Last month, we visited Maurice’s cottage and the Enchanted Tales with Belle. It is absolutely amazing! The Disney Imagineers have done a magnificent job! Please pass this appreciation onto them!!
