This week, we continued our behind-the-scenes peek at dining rooms at Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland with details from inside the Rose Gallery. There’s a seven-foot-tall music box of Belle and Beast that really plays music in this room along with artwork celebrating the two and their extended enchanted family. Of course, we have more details in our original post.

And we also shared video from a special celebration at New Fantasyland at the area occupied by the new Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid attraction.

Disney Parks Blog readers know the area was formerly the location of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, an attraction that closed in 1994. Before 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was dismantled, our Imagineers saved some of the attraction’s water in bottles and kept them safe for the past 18 years. This week, the bottles were opened for the first time for a special celebration with Walt Disney Imagineering.

  • Hi,

My name is Mary with 4 children. My family moved here to US on 2008. We are pretty new and trying hard to build our lives. I’ve been wanting to go to disney parks not because I want to experience it but because of my children, who are 19, 18, 14 and 12. If I will wait until I have saved some money for the long drive, disney park tickets and some pocket money, I am not sure when it will be. I just hope I am like you who can always go to anywhere anytime. I just wish my children, with their parents, can visit there, while they are still ‘mine’.
