In honor of the approaching milestone, we’ve decided to share our largest “All in the Details” photo gallery yet. These shots cover all of the new attractions and areas you’ll soon be able to enjoy, including Beast’s Castle, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Gaston’s Tavern, Maurice’s Cottage, Storybook Circus and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.

we check in tomorrow to the art of animation for my daughters first ever Disney trip. We cant wait to see the new areas and all she wants is to meet the “real” Cinderella and see her house light up. thank you it should be great.
OH MAN we will be there the week right before. Oh well. If we can just see the Beauty and Beast castle I think that will keep my daughter happy haha (ya know not like she will be at DISNEY or anything) So glad you all are doing the expansion. We saw Disney Live HERE in Mobile. Her FAVORITE was (of course Cinderella) and Beauty and the Beast as ALWAYS. LOVEDDD the Dance number with Spoons and forks, LOVED MRS. Pots the whole thing. Photos here are amazing.
The pictures are amazing and I’m sure the real thing will be breathtaking. We are arriving on December 8th for a long weekend. Will the whole area be open then, and do we need to get a reservation ticket to get in?
We will be there celebrating both our kids’ birthdays on Dec 3 and 4. My daughter is an Ariel fanatic! Will we be able to enjoy Ariel,s Grotto and the Undersea Adventure even though it’s before the Grand Opening? Is there anything special we need to know or do? Or how do we find out times if they’re limited? Will Ariel also still be in her veranda in Adventureland? Thanks for any help!,
One of my favorite ways to get me through a busy day at work is to go to bing maps and look at Walt Disney World through the birds-eye view and daydream about being back. Hopefully bing will update it’s image library soon so we can see the Fantasyland expansion! Might help ease the sadness of not having $ to plan another trip very soon.
My family is arriving right after Christmas and I can’t wait to see all the new rides. I have literally been waiting years for this.
PS Any word on new Hidden Mickeys in this part of the park? 🙂

We will be at WDW during Thanksgiving week. I see that a preview of the Enchanted Forest will begin on November 19. What will the preview include? When does the Be Our Guest Restaurant Open? So excited!!
The restaurant, along with everything else, will be open during the Preview Phase…however hours of operation may be limited until Dec. 6.
I too am very curious about the grand opening events that week. We will be in the world Dec. 2-8th celebrating my daughters 9th birthday. Since we were there on her 3rd & 6th birthdays, I guess this is a every 3rd year tradition. Her birthday is on December 5th, the same as Walt’s, and she wants to spend the day at the Magic Kingdom. My concern is that many of the attractions will be closed or very crowded due to media events. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Happy birthday to her! There will be a grand opening celebration for New Fantasyland on Dec. 6, however those details have not been announced yet. I’d expect the park to be pretty crowded on that day.
Extended my stay in WDW by 1 day just so that we could be at the grand opening! Can’t wait to see what Disney has planned for the day!
It will be a very special day for my wife and I.It is so wonderful that day was picked to open all those NEW great things at Disney. We will be there on that day to celebrate our 45th Wedding Aniversary.And what better way to spend it than our most Favorite place in the world.Looking foward to being there.Thanks so much.
I love Journey of the Little Mermaid!!! Great music and it is so much fun! Also, will there be an opening ceremony for new fantasyland like there was for carsland? I would love to see it and I cant wait for the official opening!

We booked our trip more than six months ago in hopes of seeing the new Fantasyland. We will be there 12/1-12/8 so we are just making the December 6 grand opening. My question is how large of a crowd do you anticipate for the opening? I know it’s typically a lower crowd level day, but I wasn’t sure how much that number will swell given the grand opening ceremonies. Any insight you could provide would be appreciated.

My daughter and I will be there Thanksgiving as well. What attractions will be able to do in the new fantasyland? Our park days are 11/20-23.
The entire area will be in preview phase by then, so you’ll be able to enjoy pretty much anything – although operating times may be limited until Dec. 6.
I’m so excited we will be there in 38 days!! I’m a little bummed as we couldn’t get reservations to Be Our Guest. My kids will still love it & be excited!!
Amanda – Try lunch. They don’t take reservations for that time period, just dinner.
I’m excited about it all but I especially loved Enchanted Tales with Belle. The experience was incredible..;-)

The pictures look great! I’ve been following the expansion for months, but our trip was already planned. If we will be down during the week of Thanksgiving, will most attractions still be available in New Fantasyland?
When will the 12/6 festivities & ceremonies be announced? We will be at MK that day and want to experience all the fun!
